  • Did Bradenton Beach on AMI erode after last year's storms?

We are planning a summer vacation to Anna Maria Island in Florida. The rental we really like is in Bradenton Beach and we could walk and use the 2nd street access to get to the beach. This is near the Beachhouse restaurant. I have read that storms Debby and Isaac had eroded all of the beach but have read conflicting info. Can anyone confirm that the beach is ok, specifically in this area?

  • Should an HD tv have a decent picture even without the HD Service?

We just bought a 32" LCD High Definition televsion. This television is not hooked up to an HD box but is hooked to a digital adapter. I think the television looks blurry. I'm not expecting the BEST quality picture but I don't think it should be this bad. Peoples faces seems to have dark shadows on them. Could it be the television or is this normal standard quality?

  • Projection Tv has sound but no picture until after 20 minute warm up. What is wrong?

When we turn on our rear projection television (about 8 years old), we immediately have sound but no picture. After about a 20 minute warm up, the picture will come on and everything is fine. What could be the problem? and how can it be fixed?

  • How long should I use the terramycin ointment on my cat?

I purchased the Terramycin ointment for my cat's eye drainage and cold. I can't locate anywhere how long I am to continue to apply. I find where it says "2 to 4 times a day" but for how many days?

  • I just applied Terramycin to my cat's eye & now he is squinting. Is this normal?

My cat does not have a tear duct in his left eye so he is more suseptible to getting eye infections. I just applied the terramycin ophthalmic ointment and now he is squinting like it is bothering him. He wasn't squinting before. It just had drainage. Is this normal?

  • Kalahari Resort, Sandusky Ohio. Outdoor activities?

We are planning a SUMMER vacation in Sandusky Ohio and will be staying at the Kalahari Resort. So much information can be found regarding the indoor waterpark and activities, but there is limited information on what is offered outdoors. Since we will be there during warmer weather, we would like to spend some time outside.

Specifically, I would like to know:

1- Are there any outdoor slides?

2- Are there any pools beyone a kiddie/ toddler pool? If so, how deep?

    3- Any other outdoor activities?

Please provide any info you have.

  • Is Dreamgirls acceptable for 9 year old?

My 9 year old loves Beyonce & Jennifer Hudson and wants to see Dreamgirls. Is this movie acceptable for her age? What questionable content is in the movie?

Keep in mind that we often view TOGETHER other PG-13 movies (Ex. Dodgeball, Klumps). I do not consider myself fanatical with shielding her from things, but prefer to introduce things that I feel she is individually mature enough to handle and we can openly discuss.

  • Am I wrong to be upset about this?

Every year when planning my daughter's birthday party, there is always some sort of drama (such as uninvited guests showing up & asking for a ride home). This year it started the day the invitations went out. My daughter usually has a big party but this year wanted to do something that costs $25 per kid. I told her ok but she was only allowed to invite 5 other kids. The invited 9 year olds, of course, started talking about it in school, & other girls found out. One girl went home crying and her mother had the audacity to call me at work to find out "what was going on & was her daughter really not invited". I was floored! I explained the situation even though I felt I shouldn't have to. My daughter has not been invited to some parties but gets that the parents probably made restrictions. I would never call & demand an explanation, especially at their place of employment. I refuse to not allow my daughter to celebrate with friends. Shouldnt she be allowed to choose with whom?
