My fiancée and I are getting married next fall in Ohio. He grew up in Indiana. All 5 of his groomsmen are from Indiana and live 3 hours away. My bridesmaids all live in Ohio. I feel bad for the groomsmen having to drive 3 hours here just for measurements. When the time comes, can they all get measured somewhere (A tux shop? Bridal shop? Local tailor / seamstress?) for a fee and just phone the measurements to our local bridal shop? I think it's dumb and costly for them to drive here just to be measured. Help please.

I live in Ohio and I am planning an out-of-state wedding in Indiana. My boyfriend is originally from Battle Ground, Indiana. We are looking for a reception hall in the Lafayette / West Lafayette / Battle Ground area. It needs to be a hall where we can serve our own alcohol and food if we want. (Some places require you to hire a caterer with a liquor license.) Anyone know of anything in this area that would match our needs? (Approx. 150-200 guests.) The internet is so vague and I don't feel like I'm getting good information. Help! Thanks:-)

When I ask people I know, they act like it's an obvious "check-in" button. I signed up for foursquare, I can log into an account, I can search locations...but there is no check-in button or option. Why isn't it an option? What am I doing wrong? Thanks

I'm dating a fellow Virgo. I think we're special because MY birthday is August 23rd- the first day that the Virgo sign begins. HIS birthday is Sept. 22nd- the day the Virgo sign ends. I know NOTHING about astrology, but I think it's cool that we are like the alpha & omega of Virgo....lol. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Thanks!

I'm re-entering the dating world after a 2 year break. Someone asked me out for New Year's Eve today, and I said "yes". We know each other, but not well. We don't want to get trashed, but maybe have a drink or two. Where can 2 people go to have a few drinks, talk, and watch the ball drop if they don't want to drink ALL night? Perhaps somewhere to go after dinner. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I just got Rock Band 2 and I'm really mad because the guitar and drums are wireless and I can't get them to work! The mic works, but isn't wireless. Am I missing a receiver or something? If I am I'm SO infuriated that it didn't come with it. Am I doing something wrong or do I need additional equipment for it to work? I'm disappointed, because now I probably won't even get to play it until AFTER Christmas. Any advice?

I work in a tanning salon. I've only been there for a few months and we're having an employee Christmas party and gift exchange. The gift has to be around $15 and I don't know the girl very well whose name I drew. (She works at the other salon across town, but we have the same boss.) Anyway, she's in her early 20's and has fashionable style. Any suggestions? Has anyone ever recieved a stellar gift exchange gift that they actually liked? I know I can always do the safe things, like: candles or a gift card. But, does anyone have a fun or original suggestion?

O.k....I was playing GH World Tour with my friends last night, and we were playing the live version of "Purple Haze." I was singing, and the lyrics that came across the screen were "excuse me while I kiss this guy." We were all like ARE YOU JOKING? A serious type-o. I feel the need to write someone. How do you screw up lyrics like that and disrespect Jimi? I'm serious- it really said that. That would be like writing "There's a bathroom on the right." For Bad Moon Rising. I have lost all respect for Guitar Hero. I mean, really- get it right !!!!!!!!!!!

My friend got Guitar Hero World Tour last night. When he hooked everything up, the cymbals wouldn't work. He took some stuff apart and reassembled it- then one worked. Awhile later, they both finally began to work, but you had to hit them pretty hard with the stick before they would register the noise. The game was pre ordered, so the game store is out of World Tour right now- he can't return it. If he wants an exchange, he has to wait or turn it in to the manufacturer and blah, blah, BLAH. We played tonight and it seemed a little better, or maybe we just got used to beating the heck out of it- but anyway, anyone else have any quality issues with GHWD? Should we wait it out and see if the drums can be "broken in" or go for the inconvenience of a refund? Other than that issue the game IS enjoyable and the cymbals rock. I think the vocals and other instruments are graded harder than Rock Band though...lol. Any thoughts?

So, I'm thinking of getting a tattoo on my right butt cheek. I have no tattoos at all. I think one on my rear would be fun because I would get it just for me. Not many people would ever see it in my lifetime and I'd never tell people that I had it. It would be like an urban legend or something...lol. (Like "I heared she has a tattoo on her butt...but she'll never tell.") Here's some ideas I had on what to get. Do you like any of these? If not, help me out and suggest one.

-A 4 leaf clover (shamrock)

That's all I have so far. Also, I tan occasionally in a tanning bed- what effect does tanning have on tattoos? I heared they can fade or lose vibrancy. I don't want a crappy tat in a few years. If this is the case, I may skip it because I don't want it to ever look bad.

AND if anyone says "get a tattoo of a butt with a tattoo of a butt on your butt," then I'll know you're gay......

I LOVE Yahoo Answers....but here's what I hate:

-People who can't spell or write a legible sentence.

-Women who post 1000's of scenarios asking if they could be pregnant. (Or if their wife or girlfriend is preggers.) This kills me!!! Take a test, we aren't psychics!

-10 year olds posting "funny" questions.

-People asking if we know "this song"....Google the lyrics stupid!!!!

-Millions of people a day asking "Who are you voting for?"

-When you click on a question that you wanted to answer and Yahoo Answers is taking a coffee break...LOL

-When someone puts something misleading in the question box- then you click on the question and it's a totally different subject than what you thought.

I am registered to vote and my former precinct is in my home town. I don't remember the address where I registered. I moved away for job reasons and have been away from home for 2 years. I recently moved back and don't remember where I am supposed to vote. Who do I ask to find this information. My local license bureau? My local board of elections? Also, how long before the election do you have to establish your voting precinct? My license has a Columbus address on it- What if the license bureau changed my voting venue to Columbus? I live somewhere else in Ohio now. However, when I left my hometown, I don't think I ever changed my voting city / precinct. I never voted away from home. Thanks for the help!

My brother's friend heared meowing coming from the dumpster behind his workplace and found 2 little black baby kittens. The dumpster was filled with glass- it was a window company's dumpster. He couldn't get to them from all the glass, so we all went back and got them out. They calmed down after we fed them and they will be ok. Surprisingly, they weren't cut or hurt. We're looking for some names for 2 VERY LUCKY black female kittens. They're sisters.

She killed that baby- or is covering up for some loser boyfriend who did it. Caylee's body was in her trunk! There was decomposition evidence found. They should NOT give Casey immunity in ANY form. Any jury would convict based on the DNA evidence that will come out because forensics WILL link the decomposition to Caylee's DNA- just wait. OMG....I am disgusted.
