  • Which companies install Tesla solar panels(not roof panels) in Orlando Florida?

I have gone to the Tesla website, but there is not information there. There is no phone number to call for Tesla solar panel questions. I sent an online request for more information at the Tesla website, but after a week no phone call or email has been sent to me.

  • Is a therapist obligated to follow through on a referral?

I was seeing a therapist for 3 months, and it was a mutual decision to end the sessions as nothing was working with the issue that I have. She stated that she could refer me to another therapist that specializes in a different kind of therapy that she did not specialize in. I agreed. A week later, I still have not heard from her. Is she obligated to follow through on this referral?

  • New Construction Flooring and Tiling?

I am having a new home construction with a builder. When they did the sheet rock and plaster/mud, gobs of the plaster/mud got all over the bare concrete slab. They eventually sanded it all down on the concrete, but many areas have white spots from the plaster mud. I can find on many sites that before tiling the concrete must be level (which technically it is now), the concrete must be clean from dirt and dust (which technically it is now), and that the thinset must be able to adhere to the concrete (which I believe technically it can't on many areas of the concrete). But I can't find anywhere that specifically talks about plaster/mud and what should be done if anything, if it is still on the concrete. I'm hoping some flooring experts can weigh in here.

  • Orlando VA Home Loan?

I am wanting to get pre approved for a VA home loan. It has been difficult to find information on the internet to find area lenders who post their VA rates and fees online. I can find rates and fees for normal home loans with major banks and lenders, but really nothing in regards to VA loans. USAA and Navy Fed posts VA mortgage rates/fees information but both are not good for me. USAA has no branches in the Orlando area, and I can't be a member with Navy Fed since I am no longer active duty.

I find it discouraging that it seems to be more difficult for veterans to get readily available information from VA home lenders.

Who are the most reputable VA home lenders, and who will be willing to give me quotes and fees without doing a hard credit check inquiry? Obviously whoever I decided to go with can do a hard credit check inquiry to verify that my credit score is above 760.

  • Value of Property?

I am trying to determine the value of my property. I have 4 different reports/values. #1- I have a home appraisal for $175,000. #2- I have a property tax value this year of $163,000. #3- I have a seller's report with a value of $150,000 but RVM range of $135k - $165k. #4- I have a CMA that shows the average price to be around $159k but a range of 149k-166k. I'm not looking for a realtor, I am just looking for a little advice as to what I should be using if I decide to sell my property. I am trying to figure out when these reports are used to determine value of a property and which would be the best to use as a starting point when selling my property.

  • Selling Rental Home?

I want to sell my rental home that is out of state. My property manager is being elusive as to how I can do this, probably because he wants to continue to have my business. Are there legit websites that are specific to people who want to sell their homes to another investor? I can't sell my home as a residential home because I currently have tenants living in it. So I have to sell it as an investment rental home. So none of the big residential real estate websites would work for me.

  • Max Duration of HOA fees?

I have a rental property for over 10 years now. It is in a single family home sub division, no condos or duplexes. I pay HOA fees every year for the last 10 years. The HOA does not pay for any utilities or insurance. Is there a max duration that I have to pay HOA fees? I can find all sorts of information on HOA fees with Google, except for the answer to this specific question. So I don't need a copy and paste description of what HOA fees are for.

  • Florida VA home loan?

When I bought a house in Texas they had a special program for Veterans to get a low rate on a home mortgage. I will soon move to Florida, and I am wondering if they have a similar program for veterans? When I do a Google search, I see many links regarding Florida VA home loans, but none that look legit and all requiring that I give my personal information just to see a rate. Which should not matter, because in Texas, all veterans got the same rate no matter what. Please send a link that shows the rate in Florida without me having to send my personal information.

  • Learning Spanish in Colombia- Visa problem?

I currently live in the United States and want to learn Spanish in Colombia and live there for one to two years. But it looks like I can only live there for 6 months in any given year... and I have to leave the country every 60-90 days in that 6 month period. From what I am seeing, I have to be in a special student program working towards a degree of some kind. I just want to study Spanish and concentrate on that. And it doesn't look like I have the requirements for any other type of visa. Any advice on how I can obtain a visa to live in Colombia for 1-2 years to study Spanish?

  • Rental Property for sell?

I have a rental property that I would like to try and sell. I think it would be easier to find an investor to buy it. Are there any LEGIT websites or companies that I could post my property on? I have tried talking about this with my real estate agent, but I get vague answers. Trying to sell it on realtor.com and other websites for personal houses is not working for me now. So I need LEGIT websites or companies that specialize in buying properties for investors.

  • Need help with lawn problems, curb appeal?

I have a rental property that a property management company is suppose to to take care of for me. I have no tenants at the moment and I am trying to test the housing market by selling the house. It is located in San Antonio, which is going through a severe drought. I just found out that the tenants moved out and turned the sprinkler system off, and when inspectors finally went through, they could not get the sprinkler system to work. It will be repaired in a couple of days. But it is quite possible that the lawn has not been watered for almost a month now. I am sure the lawn looks really bad now, and I have lost all confidence that the property management company can get it to look good again, for various reasons. My priority is curb appeal. I need ideas on how to get the lawn looking good again, after being so long without water. I am sure the lawn is scorched with the 100+ degree days and no rain. I do not want advice on what I should do with the property management company or the tenants that moved out. I plan on making the 10 hour drive to San Antonio, to take care of this issue myself. So I need ideas on how to get my lawn looking good again. I do not think adding trees or plants is a good idea, because of the drought conditions they will just die. Plus, I can only water my lawn once a week due to water restrictions.

  • Can I not pay rent if a landlord is not repairing something?

I have been in this duplex for almost 4 years, and always been on time with my rent payment. My garage door opener recently stop working. I have contacted them 4 times in 8 days. I have no direct contact with repairmen... only an answering service that "relays" the message to the repairmen. They can do nothing more than to keep sending the messages to the repairmen. When I ask for the repairmen phone number, they say they can only transfer me to their voice mail. So I left a voice mail, but have no response. It seems they are deliberately ignoring me. Do I have the right to withhold my rent payment until they repair the garage door opener?

  • How to pronounce "r" in Spanish?

I have just started to use Fluenz. And I think I have learned most of the basic pronunciations of Spanish. But I can not pronounce "r" in certain words. I can put a small roll of the "r" when it ends in the word such as comer, tomar, etc. And it sounds ok. But I am having a really hard time in pronouncing the "r" when it begins a word such as restaurante. What is interesting, is when I say the word, I can not roll the first "r", but I can roll the second "r". Another word that is giving me trouble is querer. If I say quiero or quiere.. it almost sounds like I am trying to put a "d" in the word to help roll the "r". It sounds more like "qui-er-do" or "qui-er-de". I dont think this is correct. Can someone help me with some exercises, websites, or YouTube videos that can help me get over my pronunciation problems. Like I said, I am only having problems with the "r", everything else is good with my Spanish pronunciation.

  • Nightlife in Bogota, Colombia?

I came to Bogota, hoping to spend time with some friends I met on the internet. Unfortunately, I thought the women would be a little more accomodating. They have been "too busy," to spend much time with me. I will be leaving Sunday, but I would like to make the most of the last 3 days here. I do not speak much Spanish. I have a hotel at Virrey Park on Carrera 15, almost in the middle of Parque de la 93 and Zona Rosa. I do feel very safe in this area, and I do like both 93 and Rosa. I do not want to venture too far out of my "safety zone." My question is, what would be the best discos in my area to go to on Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night? And the discos that women might be more friendly to a lonely gringo in Bogota. =)

Please do not say "walk around Zona Rosa until you find one".. I want specifics and why it is good for that night. And remember, to be near my area of the city. Thanks!!!

  • How do I use a U.S. cell phone in South America without the expensive roaming charges?

I am currently on the market for a new cell phone. I make frequent trips to South America, so I would like a phone that will work in the USA and in South America. I currently use Verizon, and I am happy with them, but with most South American carriers using GSM, I know that I will need to switch to another carrier. Since it doesn't look like the HTC Touch HD or the Omnia HD are coming to USA, the phone that I am leaning towards now is the IPhone. I know I can use the IPhone in South America, but I would have almost a $3 per minute roaming charge. That is too expensive for me. I am looking for a solution to this problem. From some of the answers I have read here, some are suggesting to get an unlocked phone, or have the phone unlocked. But I am not sure what to do. Should I: 1) Buy an unlocked phone? 2) Buy a phone through AT&T, and have it unlocked? If the 2nd option is best, then how can I get the phone unlocked? Once I have the phone unlocked, from the answers I have read, it looks like I would need a different SIM card. How do I get a SIM card that can be used in a different country? Or is there a company that provides a SIM card that can be used in other countries?

  • Can my Landlord increase my rent like this?

I have been living in a rental duplex for 2 and half years with the rent at $1050 in Wichita, Kansas. My lease has been up for 6 months, but the landlord never contacted me about renewing until now. I have always been on time with the rent payments. I told them I would do another 6 month lease, and they sent me the new lease with the new amount of $1300. They never once told me the rent was going to increase by phone or in the mail, until I read this new lease. I have yet to signed it, because I am in shock at the almost 25% increase. Is this a fair practice? Also, how can the amount go up so much, if the economy and housing market is supposedly in the tank?

  • Trip to Cali Colombia?

I am planning a trip to Cali, Colombia around my birthday in April. I have been to Bogota for a few days, but only had an average experience, because I did not plan it very well. So I hope to plan my trip to Cali better. My primary reason for going to Cali is for fun and relax. I am a single white man, 32, no kids, never married.. so finding a beautiful girlfriend in Cali would be a great secondary reason for this trip. I am traveling alone, but I am experienced in traveling alone. And I know that Cali is safe. My questions are what nice hotels can i find in safe places around $60-$80 a night, and will allow guests overnight? I was very surprised that for the same price in Bogota, that I was not allowed to have guests in my room for the night!! What are some great restaraunts I should go? What are some nice tourist places(musuem, parks, etc) to check out? What are some of the best discos? I prefer techno and reggaeton. I do not like salsa much. Should I go for 1 week or 2?

  • Trading baseball, football, and basketball cards?

I am trying to find a website where I can find people like myself who want to trade(swap) common cards. My problem is that I have many cards from the early 1990's, but have no complete sets. I know it is more valueable to have complete sets. But often I have 3, 4, or 5 of the same card and missing other cards to complete the set. I am hoping that there is a website out there where people can list the cards that they are willing to trade(such as my "extra" cards), and list the cards they want. I dont want to have to go to a store to buy the cards to complete my sets. I dont want to go to a store to trade either, as they will not give me fair value for my cards. Been there and done that. And please do not tell me to go to EBay... because Im sure I will get 100 answers that says "go to EBay." Obvioulsy I have tried searching with yahoo and google also, and can not find such a website that has what I am looking for... which is why I am trying this.
