  • Is bleach safe to use on astro turf?

Will it harm the turf? What dilution ratio? I am asking because our doggy day care has artificial turf. We have small pools for the dogs. We are developing some green scum on the turf that Quat is not killing. It must be a mold or something. It reminds me of when a big pool turns green from lack of chemicals. If not bleach, then what would be safe for the turf and most importantly, the dogs.

  • coworker stealing lunches?

I have decided to get even with the thief who has been stealing my Hot pockets. I am going to inject them with castor oil. I am just not sure how much to inject them with. I don't want to hurt anyone. But I want the perpetrator to be exposed!!

I will be using a syringe. So what dosage will be sufficient? If this works I will let you know so that anyone with the same problem at their work can take care of it.

  • Does anyone have good knowledge of wrestler Andre the Giant?

I know a girl that claims she was his girlfriend for about 15 years. not sure i believe her. Before I call her a liar, where can I find some personal info on the man? Google gives me the same sites no matter what i type in to search. I haven't asked to see any pics of them together. And she claims that he left everything to her, but she gave it to his daughter because she has the same gigantism condition as he did.

This is not a bullcrap story as far as I can tell, but I just want to know without offending this gal

  • Mortgage insurance Q. Can anyone give me sites, actual ins. co's, or some good info on insurance specifically?

on Critical illness motg. ins., unemployment mortg. ins., and mortgage life insurance. I have googled it but only can come up with companies in canada or the UK. I live in the USA and want to deal with a company near me. I want to know all I can about each type. And is it less expensive than life insurance? I would think that it would be less, because it just pays off your mortgage, and the benefit amount would decrease as you pay down your mortgage. Any help is very much appreciated

  • What chemical to use for a "dog only" pool?

If a doggy day care has 2-3 little plastic kiddie pools...What would be the best chemical to use for sanitation and to reduce the chances of hot spots, and fungal problems ? I am thinking of fusing chlorhexadine as I understand that is safe to leave it on the coat after the dogs are out of the pool and back in their kennels resting. Although they are dried somewhat, they will still be damp when put in for nap time. And we are talking about anywhere from 10 to 40 dogs on any given day.

Serious replies only. I want an answer from some one who has had experience in this area. Fresh water is always provided in every day care session for the pools, but they just get dirty so fast, and I liken it as sharing bath water. And dogs end up with hot spots etc. We have misters also, and this also creates problems. just being damp is the problem, but some dogs really like the pools and I think any safe chemical will help cut down on some of these problems. Especially since many problems can end up costing clients vet care and meds.

  • Any good decorators who can help me pick a paint color for my living room?

I am inheriting a sofa and recliner, and misc. items. The sofa is beige, the recliner is a burgundy color. I have one wall to put the sofa on and I am wondering what effect painting that one wall a darker color than the rest of the room would be. I am planning on going with some neutral colors. I have hard wood floors, and a a large entertainment center of natural wood. It's a medium wood, not light, not dark. I have a fireplace that is currently painted white. It is brick though, with a painted wood mantle. The opening to the fireplace has a black and glass front. The hearth is black slate. I love black and want to get some tables with wood and black. But the color selection for the walls are driving me crazy. I thought of a mauve, but everything looks so pink. So I am looking at beige's and browns, but think a darker color behind the couch would help the couch not to get lost in the wall. I hope someone has some advice, as I am one of those that is afraid to use color for fear of using it wrong

  • Has anyone been abused, and then been asked why you took the abuse?

If you have been in , or are in an abusive relationship. Have you told someone about it? And then they ask you to your face why you stayed in that relationship?

I personally don't think anyone can say what they would do if some one you loved suddenly turned physically and verbally abusive.

my question is "Why don't people understand why you would endure even the slightest abuse"

Anyone who has been abused knows it doesn't start out that way! I would like some feedback from the abused, and those who don't understand what being abused is like.

And I DO NOT want the as&&&les that like to give stupid comments. I will report you! I want serious answers!

  • let me rephrase this question.. FHA loan I just closed on?

has a paragraph about paying P&I on the first of the month. The closing officer made it sound like if i paid late even by 1 day I would owe a full months interest at the end of the loan. Or does this mean that if I pay it early I will still be charged a full months interest?

  • it says...borrower shall make a payment on the first of the monthfor principal and interest. any principal and?

interest remaining at the end of the loan will be due at the end of the loan. so does this mean if my payment gets to them on the 3rd of the month, that i will be paying all that interest at the end? The closing agent made it sound like i would owe a whole months interest if i was even 1 day late

  • Mortgage and retirement?

I have a serious question about my mortgage. i must start by saying that I am almost 50. I refinanced my home to a 30 yr fixd rate. I was in one of those adjustable rates..... I owe about 90K, the house is worth 145K. I have NO other debt! i want to know what you think about paying down the mortgage? I need to understand how a mortgage works. I think I know that in the beginning of the loan, it's almost all interest. Then as it get paid down over the years, it goes to more principal thasn interest. At what point do you start adding payments to your principal to help pay it down? And will this lower your payments? Because the interest is based on the principal? I hope someone understands this and can explain some things to me. I am just kind of freaking out here because of my age. And don't want to have to pay the mortgage payment at the end of the 30 yrs! Hell, I may not be working! Or even alive at that point! So what advice does anyone have?

  • If I buy a term life insurance policy with a term of 20 years...what happens at he end of the 20 yrs?

I know this sounds dumb, but do i just put the policy in a safe deposit box until I die? I'm in my 40's and know I need to get a policy, and just have so many questions that I can't seem to find the answers to on the web. Any help is appreciated, as well as any websites that give a lot of info. The salesmen are sooo pushy sometimes. I've been on Suzeorman.com, but I can't seem to find all the answers there.

  • Silky terrier, Yorkshire terrier, both influenced by austrailian terrier?

how do you really tell the diff between the silky's and yorkies? my belief is that in my job as a groomer, that a certain breed comes in as X breed, but may not be that breed ,even if it is papered. So many come from puppy mills etc and even the breeder can't tell you what is up. So what is the deciphering difference between a yorkie and a silky?

  • Just a comment for all of you that have harsh comments on accidental breedings?

There are people on here that just simply do not know or can't afford spaying and neutering. Ther are also people who live in the countryside who have dogs dropped off on their properties because others just can't deal with their pet any more. Most often these people in the country take in these dogs and care for them. Because you couldn't deal with it. Often they are starved, near death and these people take them in. They cannot afford to take the dog to the vet either. Or get them fixed. You just dump the dog and let somebody else worry about it, or hope that it just dies. Those people make me sick. I am agroomer and get on here as well as several other sites and just find it appalling that people are sooo insensitive. Then there are people on here that just don't know how to take care of an animal. And some of you just bash the crap out of them. Come on People! This site is to help each other.
