A woman my daughter works with lived common law with the father of her two children for ten years.His name is on the childrens birth certificates. He was married years before and neither he nor his first wife had ever divorced. He and his first wife have a child together. His former wife has also been living common law with a man that she also has a child with. The young man my daughters friend was living with was killed in an auto accident and burned and died. His common law wife went to file for benefits with social security. They tell her that his name on their birth certificates is not enough evidence to prove he is their father, She can get no DNA because his body was burned and destroyed in the fatal auto accident She has to prove he has the same DNA as the children.

All she has is some clippings from his beard. His mom won't agree to DNA testing as she is angry with her because she had left the young man two weeks before his fatal accident. Please don't tell me this was the most irresponsible thing ever that they let happen to them. The children need this help and they are entitled even if their parents behaved irresponsibly. They lived together as man and wife for ten years but never had a checking account together. Any help greatly appreciated. Is there a way that she can legally prove they lived as common law all these years? The maternal grandmother knows and has always claimed these grandchildren to everyone on both sides of the family. If it was any of us and we see our famalies starving and we know we can walk across to our country and work like dogs ,then we could feed our families,we likely would. It is the government at fault here,ours and the Mexican government.They should have been putting their heads together to create solutions for the economic problems in Mexico that have so impacted our country as well as Mexican and US lives. The Mexican government has not shown itself a worthy opponent for the drug cartels. We need to stop hating the common poor Mexicans and go after the fat cats in the Mexican government and eliminating the power of the drug cartels. Common people are living under terror reign from them . Please I pray you will only give sensible,intelligent answers and thoughts on real solutions for good people in these situations. thank you.

As I have aged,I am noticing that shoes for an older woman that are still stylish are very hard to find. Generally we need a lower heel that is wider and unless the shoe has a high vamp,it needs a strap across the foot. It seems that most of the shoes for seniors are poor quality that look orthopaedic.
