i agree accused should be treated as human being; but, i find human right agencies defend only accused with police records, instead of supporting the victim, the innocent public!sometimes, police officers, particularly, lady officers are killed or even raped by criminals. why do'nt human right agencies support police officers when they are attacked by criminals?

i am seeing educated public triple riding in motor cycles,using mobile while driving, not respecting the poor pedastrians, particularly children & ladies and finally - after flouting all rules arguing with officers!

traffic wardens and spl. police officers scheme is existing in cities like delhi, bangalore, pondichery,chennai etc., public can voluntarily participate in police functioning when ever they get time. spo & traffic wardens can organise awareness meetings for public and students. spo can help night beat constables.but- public participation is less. that's why this question.

Traffic Wardens asssit Traffic Police in many Indian cities like Delhi, Bangalore,Madurai, Chennai & Pondicherry. This kind of public participation will help smooth regulation of traffic during peak hours.Public also can get policing satisfaction as well as understand problems faced by police.
