Gold is Beautiful

Okay, so I'm a 25 year old woman and just transferred to UMass Amherst. I have always had pretty clear skin except for the occasional breakout.I breakout mostly on my forehead, cheeks, chin, and sides of my nose. I have really red irritated blotchy oily and dry skin. I'd like to know if anyone has experienced something similar and has advice.

. It could be;

1) adult acne or stress, but it only started two weeks after coming here.

2) The water is soft here and I'm used to harder water

3) I lived on the cape which is below sea level to UMass which is in the mountains

4) It is also extremely dry here and where I used to live it was humid

5) my dorm is ridiculously warm and I have to keep the window open or it turns into a sauna

6) Also my mini fridge kind of has a mold smell that leaks into anything put into it and for awhile that's all I've been drinking water out of

Things I've tried:

1) a humidifier

3) Dr Bronners Tea tree Castille soap

4) coconut oil

5) not exercising

6) eating mostly vegetarian

7)Tea Tree oil

8) not wearing makeup

9) using cold water at the end of cleansing

10) washing my sheets and pillow cases/towels every four days

The only thing that seemed to help was going back home to visit my family I was only there for a day and a half but my acne and redness went from everywhere to barely there. However just one day after returning it started coming back. And now its just as bad as before.

So, two years ago I started to hangout with a guy I met at work. After meeting up a couple times of he asked me if we could go out. I said no. I told him that I don't date my friends, and if that hanging out with me would make him feel awkward, we should just go our separate ways. I went on to say I've dated my friends in the past and all the relationships ended horribly. He then told me, that he was fine and he didn't mind being "just friends." Flash to a year later we're still hanging out and now I have a boyfriend. I go to tell my friend all about my bf, because I thought we could all go out and have pizza or something. However then, my friend told me he still liked me and that this conversation was making him unconvertible. I couldn't help but feel a little guilty, I had my doubts about our friendship being only one sided that partly being the reason I wanted the two to meet. So, again I told him, I don't date my friends. It's been a year since then, and he has told me that there are girls he's interested in, but I never see them. And I have since broken up with my ex. He is a great guy, a wonderful person, but I'm not attracted to him, and he knows that. It's uncomfortable to be around him sometimes because he tends to hover over me, or sit really close to me when there are plenty of available seats around, and he gets over protective around our friends. I think in his mind we're dating. He's my best friend, but I don't want to hold him back. What do I do?

I'm not kidding when I say I have Strep Throat. I'm still contagious, and I have to pass in my midterm today. My teacher doesn't let us use Canvas to send our papers digitally. I've e-mailed my teachers, but they haven't gotten back to me.I don't know what else to do. I don't want to get zero on my midterm. especially when I've completed it and everything.

Ok so here's what happened I started going out with my friends ex...(I know not cool) then I started hanging out with him more. My friend said she felt awkward, but it was ok as long as I liked him. So then I started staying over his place and my friend broke down so I broke up with him. But now my glasses are at his house and I don't know how to get them back?

Alright so this i what happened I didn't want to go to my last period of the day "Art History" and I told my boyfriend "can we do something else. This was the first time I skipped and since I'm a senior ad that class isn't that necessary for me to graduate, I thought I'd be ok to skip once. Since my older 21 year old brother constantly skipped during his senior year I thought it'd be cool to text him that I was...I was wrong Jo#$ texted mr "WTF get back to class" I told him I was with my boyfriend, and then he got really pissed saying "I'm happy to know you care more about your Dou#$ boyfriend then your grades!" then my boyfriend caught my phone and said "she can't she's mine, Mwahaha!" my brother then got furious and called him a bunch of explicit names, and then when we got to the movie theater, I got a call from my dad, I immediately ran into the bathroom (of the theater and faked like it was the school bathroom). My brother made constant threats and stated "be glade I'm not there because if I was I'd fu**ing find you and kill that son of a b**** your with." My boyfriend is a really good guy the only reason we couldn't return to school is cuse we road there with his friend who didn't want to leave the movie early...do you think my brother had I right to be mad or do you he's just too overprotective.

I lived in Boston for 13 years before moving down south...My mom and brother who still live up there say I've acquired an accent. However, I'll admit when I first came down I thought school would be a breeze, boy was I ever wrong! The schools here are actually harder than the Northern States or Boston anyway. I actually struggled in the school system here. I sorry if this offends anyone it's just I don't think people understand that Southerners arn't stupid, actually they're smarter,,,go figure..

I'm a senior and I really need some help...I'm a complete fashion disaster. Since it's my senior prom I want to look good, but since this is such a bad economy I need an affordable one. PLEASE HELP ME!
