Ok...found ants all over my desk last night.There is no food here,my office is on the second floor...I sprayed ant killer last night.This morning,an ant crawled across my computer.Help please.Thank you ahead of time for reading my question.I am a bit concerned that they might get in my computer.And I didn't have it outside so they couldn't have come from there.

My backyard gets such high winds that it blows away my pool umbrellas,turns over my tables.Is there anything I can do to block it?

I am taking in two people to help me with my bills,and to help them get a new start in life.One is my brother-in-law.My husband was killed and I am disabled.I am trying to make it on my own,but it is hard.My question is this.I added what all my bills are.Utilities,food,gas,and Mortgage.I don't have credit cards or bills like that.I deducted my mortgage and insurance,cell phone from the bills.So what do I charge them to stay here.They have complete access to my home and pool and food.How do I figure out a fair amount?Thank you in advance for your help.

My house sits up on a small hill above the other homes here.The wind I get is crazy.It lifts my furniture,takes my umbrellas over the fence to the road.I was thinking that tress would help.This is the best way to describe the layout. backyard.Come out of door,to the right is patio,open area and neighbors fence.open door,go straight and that is where pool is,surrounded by bushes.Turn right and more open space then my fence.The road is on the other side of this fence.I have tied things down,the ground won't hold stakes well,because the earth is clay.Any ideas?I had a swing out there,the wind moved it forward,then sideways and it crashed through my bedroom windows.We are talking fierce wind here.Thank you for taking the time to read this.I'm thinking along the lines of landscaping differently????

I had new tile put in my house.It is supposed to be slate.It looks dull and I thought it would be shiny.When I asked the installers how to clean it they said to use water and vinegar and NOT to seal it.So naturally I am disappointed.So that is how I clean it.And it doesn't clean it well.I went to slate websites and they say not to use vinegar and that slate should be sealed.Now I'm not sure what to do.Is there a professional tile layer who knows the answer to my question?Thank you in advance.

I have had all of the symptoms for MS for a few years now.They finally did a spinal tap and the results come in next week.My symptoms have included optic neuropathy,polyneuropathy,abnormal involuntary movements,slurred speech,the inability to walk severe headaches along with Lupus,Fibromyalgia,antiphospholipid antibody syndrome,right cerebral brain damage from strokes and TIA'S.Severe spasicity in my legs and hands,tremors,and today I started having pain in my lower left leg that feels like it is being broken.Is there anyone else going through this that can tell me what this is?Please help if you can,It's very hard.Thank you.

I had some wet laundry in a basket.Of course it molded.Someone accidentally moved it to the garage.Most of it had to be thrown away,but one blouse seems to be ok but still smells musty.Is there anything i can do to fix it?Thank you.
