So I have an ipad 2. It was a prize I won in a contest. I wanted to know how is it differnt from ipad 1 or 3 or 4. Also I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't start without a connection (sim). Can anyone tell me how to start it. Will the sim I use on my samsung phone work? Can I connect it to my windows PC?

And what am I supposed to do with it? It would be great for reading ebooks and stuff. But what else? Sorry if I sound like a complete Idiot!
