I'm 13 years old and love learning about politics. Throughout the 2008 election, I've been supporting Barack Obama for president. Although the majority of people in my town supported McCain, I went against the grain. I agree with all of Obama's policies, especially his education plans. http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ I've read both of his books along with many other books about him (and a couple about his wife and Joe Biden's book). I believe that President Obama and Vice President Biden are ready to lead the country but we need to help them. Whether you supported McCain or Obama, now is not the time to brag or mourn about the victory. Now is the time when we all need to work together. We must unite to overcome these hard times in America. Together, we can succeed.

What are some examples of someone with a sad past becoming a huge success in the future? It doesn't have to be real. I've just come up with two:
The poor boy who could hardly survive on the streets and became a millionaire(not real)
and
The single mom who relied on food stamps while finishing her education and provided for her children became president( also not real).

On our honor society tshirt we need a quote/slogan about honor. Last year they had "Honor Society: Is it in you?"

I have to be a teacher aide in one class. I like to go to the office because the office aides are awesome and we just sit there and talk. What are some things I can say so I can get out and stay out for a while?
btw, I can't say "I'm going to the restroom, library,etc." because if I get caught I would get in BIG trouble.
