  • Quick question: What is your favorite genre of music?

I was just wondering because I listen to R&B and Rap music and my friends think it's weird for a gay guy to listen to those types of genres. Do they think this because of the genres' Afro-American heritage or because of the gay stereotype?

  • When is TNA on in the UK?

I used to watch it and then kinda drifted off, but I want to watch it again. The problem is that I can't find it, I know it's on Challenge but I can't remember what day. Anybody know?

  • Why do many gay guys act like stereotypical gay guys?

Like Kurt from Glee, they're all flamboyant and camp, and very feminine. It's an awful stereotype for other gay guys who don't let their sexuality define them, and to be honest it shows a lack of originality.

Seriously though, why follow the rules of a stereotype? Is it just because it's the only version of gay people that the media promote?

  • Love sonsg that have this similar theme?

I was thinking of merging a few songs together for either a mash up or a sample. And basically, I was going to take the chorus and outro to Red Cafe's 'Fly Together' and put them on an older love song that worked, but I'm stumped for ideas.

Could you give me any songs that talk about/have the theme of flying in them?

  • Story title..........?

I really, really need a title for a story idea I've got. I;ve planned it out but a title just isn't coming. This is basically the summary, but I'd love words to do with demons, powers and spiritualty/magic:

Blake. Micah. Caleb. Aaliyah. Skye. There was always something odd about them, something beautiful but mysterious, something that made you curious, but fearful. Maybe it was the way their eye colour's changed every few days, or maybe it was their ever-youthful skin, but Jaden and Elisaa Campbell are about to discover something that is both astounding and confusing and will surely change their lives forever, whether for the greater good, or for pure evil. Either way, Jaden and Elissa Campbell didn't expect to find out that their adoptive parents lied to them about their roots. They always felt in touch with something they couldn't explain.

Deep in the creepy, dark woods of Levaersting Wood, a small town, there is an underworld uprising that threatens to destroy everything they have ever known, and with an evil hunter that seems to gather power the more he kills, is there more to the woods, than meets the eye?

    Thank you :)

  • Surnames and physical appearances Help?

Okay, so I have a story in mnid, have all the character names chosen, but I am awful with physical descriptions of characters. So I was hoping somebody could help me out with what they think these character names should look like. And also give surnames.

Blake: Just need a surname that has something to with light and dark.

Micah: Surname, so long as it goes well with his first name.

Caleb - He's white/caucasian. But he can't be blonde, at least not a really light blonde because he's dating Blake who is blonde. He also has to have the same surname as Skye, because they're siblings, and the surname would have to be either to do with the sky/flying, or protection/safety.

Skye - Also white/caucasian. She has to have the same surname as Caleb because they're related.

Aaliyah - Can either be black(African-American or Asian) She's very beautiful, so much so that she can put people to sleep with her looks. Again, something that goes with her name, could be soft or light-hearted sounding. .

Jaden - Need physical appearance, he's adopted. I was thinking of using the name Campbell but if you have an improvement, it'd be welcome.

  • Could you give me some girland boy names that fit with these?

There's a stoy forming in my head, slowly. I usually write a small summary to, well, summarise it before I plan it fully, but I just need some girl and boy - mostly girl's - names that fit with the three boys names I have.

The boys are called Blake, Caleb and Micah. I was going to call one of the girls Evissa, but I didn't think it worked that well with the others. I know it seems lacking at the moment, but with the right names, I can make this into a full story

  • Why do people hate so much on 50 Cent?

I know he's over the hill now, and most likely chatting **** on his songs, but would no one rather him be up there still? And you have to admit that he has made some classics in his time, and that Tv Hip Hop was better with beef involved :/

  • Blog by Prodigy........................?

I read this blog by Prodigy the other week, and he was talking about the devil and such. Basically, does anyone know what the blog's called?

BQ: Do you think it would make sense that the Devil is negative energy and not a physical being?

  • Who does Lowkey sample in Voices of the Voiceless with Immortal Technique?

The woman in the chorus, she says "What happens after darkness will come to light, can't silence us even though you will try" and then "Take our freedom, can't take our pride, come what may we will survive" and I kinda want to know who she is, whether it's a sample or not, 'cos that instrumental is too good.

  • Any suggestions on a blurb for my book?

Well, basically, I've planned a book down to characters, plot and main scenes. I've written the introduction and then the start of the next chapter.

The story is set in post-apocalyptic Egypt, where a young Pharaoh who is powerless and just a messenger to the Gods lives. The story revolves around the young Pharaoh (Chike), his best friend and guard, (Abubakar), his family and a person he thought was his friend but is actually a Judas-type by the name of 'Husani'. Chike, who is secretly homsexual, (known by his friends), is drinking after a tough day and meets a male beauty by the name of 'Geb'. Geb is the male equivalent of Cleopatra in Acient Egypt, and the two are instantly drawn to each other on a physical and spiritual level.

Here's the blurb I have come up with, and I really don't think it draws people in at all:

"In post-apocalyptic Egypt, the last thousand beings of humanity live under the Gods who see them as pure of soul. Amongst these thousand people is one of the powerless Pharaoh’s, Chike. Join Chike as he juggles life and love as well as serving under the Gods in this mythological and spiritual tale of passion, betrayal and, ultimately, power".

So, if you have any tips, changes or suggestions that you think might help to improve the blurb, than it would be so appreciated if you could tell me. Thanks to anybody who looks :)

  • Help with a story I am writing. Please?

It's basically set in Ancient Egypt, or at least my idea of it, where Cleopatra is a man (with a man's name), and the Pharaoh is in love with the male Cleopatra, and basically Cleo gets kidnapped, and the Pharaoh is blamed by a usurper to his throne. In this story Cleo isn't on the throne. She might be, just not to begin with. Also, Cleo is a guy, and not a girl, as this is a gay love story.

Anyway, I really would like a few words synonymous with Egypt, love/sex, framing people and murder.

Also, if you have the time, could you think of any names for these characters (Egyptian-sounding and/or modern):

Male Cleopatra: Short-haired Brunette, with baby blue eyes, pouy lips, he's baby-faced. He's innocent, kind, unassuming, stunning. But he's also gracious, generous, mischievous and fun-loving. He also has a very slim and curvy body. Which attracts men and women alike.

Pharaoh: He is a lonely ruler, judged by people as a 'bad guy' before they even speak to him. He isn't that harsh on his slaves, but he inforces his authority as Pharaoh. He's quite lonely, and finds himself alone on the night he meets the male Cleo. He is nice, but he is also quiet as he is nervous around the stunning male Cleo. The Pharaoh has dirty blonde hair, green-blue eyes, and is a fair bit more toned than the male Cleo, as well as a few inches taller.

They are around the same age, the Pharaoh being a few years older(3-4 years), and it's kind of a love story. Also, the fact that they are both homosexual (which I'm pretty sure was looked down upon a lot more than nowadays) will hold them back from showing their love, and will incriminate them both when they are caught.

There's also another character that kidnaps the male Cleo, prompting the Pharaoh to send out a search party, before the kidnapper frames the Pharaoh and takes the throne whilst Pharaoh is away.

Basically, I need words that are synonymous with love, back-stabbing, kidnapping, Egypt/Cleopatra, the throne, and anything else that comes to your minds that you think might be helpful. I will be SO grateful for any input, as I'm very enthusiastic about this, so thank-you in advance :)

  • How do I write lyrics, I'm finding it really hard?

I really want to write about lust, love, lies, betrayal, friendship and life but every time I come up with one line, the next line is either really corny or too long for it to fit. Also I want it to be fu(ked up R n B like JMSN, Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, if that helps at all.

Is there anyway I can improve my lyric writing?

I want them to be chilling and striking, maybe a bit depressing because that's how I usually feel. Thanks for any answers :)

  • My football team hate me?

Well, I joined this football (soccer) team recently and I rarely miss training but I missed one last week and was, apparently, supposed to be at two games in a row (despite the manager texting me to say I wasn't playing). And now I'm being told that the coach and manager are pissed off at me, and I think some of the players might be too, the thing is, I hardly know any of them, apart from four friends I joined with (who have been telling me that they're all pissed off), so I'm beginning to think they'll all treat me like dirt when I turn up to training on Thursday.

The day that I missed training I was finishing off re-doing my room, and by the time I finished my room it was 7:30 (when we usually start training) and my Mum was taking a shower and I was totally exhausted from a day's work, so I didn't go, I forgot to tell the manager 'cos I just forgot and now it's like I'm public enemy number one :(

    What do I do?

  • I told him I was insecure and he just ignored it?

So basically, I'm having issues with accepting the fact that I'm surrounded by fake friends and don't have any real ones, so tonight my friend keeps texting me and I told him he was a compulsive liar, (something he is but can't accept and I hate it because it makes it hard for me to trust him). So I end up feeling guilty when I just want him to say he actually ares about me and I said "I'm sorry for being a douche earlier, I'm just insecure" and he just ignores what I say and goes on about something else.

The thing is, he said something along the lines of "I see you being one of my best friends for life" and yet he fails to pay any attention when I say these things, whenever I say something that's basically just a cry for help (I get extremely depressed and lonely a lot), how can he say he wants me to be a life-long friend when he doesn't even care about my feelings?

    We're both 17, he's a straight guy, I'm a gay guy, there's nothing else to it really.

  • Why does nobody else seem to want real friendships?

I know I probably sound weird but one of my close friends hangs out with people he knows aren't good friends, he knows their not and yet he treats them the same as he would treat this other guy he has known for years. I just don't understand, everyone around me is so fake and bitchy, and yet they all seem content with it, or, even, happy.

Anyway, most of the people I used to call friends (we had a small, tight group), are now distant strangers that I don't really want to know and they only use and abuse like the rest of them, it hurts, seeing somebody you used to be such good friends with just turn into somebody you don't want to know because they fit into the mold with the rest and it's riving me crazy. I'm 17 and doing A-Levels in school, I know it's school, but I only have two good friends and one of them is the first guy I talk about.

  • I'm gay but occasionally my mind wonders about her?

Well, there's this girl that I'm kind of good friends with, well, she was the first person I came out to and she was really nice about it and she always talks to me when I feel down and stuff. Now I can never get into girls at all on a physical level yet I can totally get into guys so long as they fit my picky type of guy but randomly, and I do mean randomly I think "I wonder what it would be like if me and ***** were together" and other stuff like that, never anything sexual or anything too deep but it's got me worried that I might actually not be as gay as I thought. Does it sound like I like her?
