i have a 1994 ford taurus GL with a 3.8 liter V-6. and when you turn the swich on the fuel pump come on and stays on some times 2 min, sometimes 15 min. after the fuel pump turns off the car will start. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, body controll module, EEC (main cumputer) and don't know what to do next..

Changed the ECC and the fuel pump but the car will not start. took it to have the codes read and was told that the ECM (main computer) was bad and needed to be replaced. Can I just pull one from a junk yard? or does this need to be programed or something. The scanner would not return any codes when scanned. Thanks we really need this car to run..

I have a 1994 Ford Taurus 3.8L Starts then dies. The check engine light comes on when its trying to start, if you wait until the check engine goes out (with the key on) it will start and die, otherwise it will just turn over and not crank. The car has run great until today. Please help, I replace the ECC (Engine computer, after a recomendation from advanced auto, $ 140.00, no help yet.)

I have a 1984 silverado C10 and a motor out of a 1995 Suburban (350 ci) I would like to replace the factory 305 with the 350 and install a manual tranmission (orig auto).. What would be a good 4 or 5 speed tranny to use for the swap? Is there much involved in changing from auto to manual? thanks for all you help.. ps this is a daily driver..

I have a 1995 Chevy Suburban K1500 with a 350 ci. It will crank when its cold and rough idle, it then begins to smoke dark gray and acts like its flooding out. I can rev up the engine and make it run untill it gets hot, but it begins to run rougher and rougher and smokes worse. I am getting gas and the spark seems to be good, what else can I check? I have replaced the distributor, rotor button, spark plugs, wires, and fuel filter. I don't know what to do next...

When I hit the arrows (up,down, or side to side) the page will move but the box I selected will not. If I type information into a box and hit the side arrow the page will move but the box will stay on the cell I typed in. I have to click on the next box with my mouse to get to the next box. I just purchased a 1980 KZ440 LTD for my son. This bike will crank in all gears. If by mistake its left in gear and you hit the starter button, its coming off the kickstand. Does this bike have a saftey switch and where is it or how can I check it.

I have a 26 year old Kawasaki KZ440 ltd, it cranks and runs great. However when I get above 55 or 60 mph the front end vibrates (kinda jumps up and down) I wonder what it is and what can I do before taking it to the shop. The bike rides smooth and straight just untill I get above 55 or 60 mph. Please help, I don't know where to start. Thanks Andy
