Okay so I've transitioned into veganism and I have some across the ingredient "honey flavor". I found this in some Green Tea Drink and was wondering if it was okay to drink?

Who thinks she should stay out of the dog food arena?

I want to switch to a better food but, my dog has allergies, most likely to brown rice and possibly lamb...(thanks to everyone who answered the question about my dobie with a rash). Currently I feed Eagle Pack Holistic Selects the Anchovy, Sardine and Salmon meal and I am looking into the Orijen 6 Fish and Sea Vegetable formula. Does anyone use this brand? Would you recommend it? Do you notice any change in your dog from using it (ie coat, teeth, appetite etc)?

My female (16month) red doberman is losing patches of fur. We switched foods to a different flavor within the same line and about two weeks following she broke out with a rash on her belly and chest. That cleared up within a day and then she started losing fur on her chest. This was not regular shedding but patches of fur. I attributed the problem to the change in food and immediately changed back. Her hair seemed to be coming back in and now (just these past few days) the rash, which looks like bumps or bites (she doesn't have fleas, ticks or mange) started coming up on her neck , under her jaw and near her ears. As of today the fur looks patchy in this area too. So we have a vet appt. for Tuesday but has anyone had a problem similar to this before.

*Oh she is on Eagle Pack hollistic selects, she has been washed (per vet) with a medicated shampoo for the itching, although she really hasn't been scratching...I am just trying to be a bit more informed as I have tried researching and

I have a 14 month old female doberman. Before I got her I did a lot of research on the breed concerning torsion and bloat (as they rank 8th in likelihood to have this problem). I make sure that she eats three small meals a day, that she doesn't eat before or after rigorous exercise and take other precautions to make sure that this doesn't happen to her.

Recently, within the past two months, I have noticed that she is burping...after she eats mostly. Is this something I should worry about?...I don't want to go to the vet just to say "My dog is burping."... and if anyone has had any experience with this problem is this a symptom of an oncoming problem? Thanks!

I would like to swtich my dog to a raw food diet.( I have a doberman pup (7 months) and two shih tzu's, 1 and 2 yrs.)I have read numerous amounts of literature and have found many references concerning larger breeds but have yet to find the latter. Does anyone out there feed their small breed a raw food diet..???
