I am looking into colleges from undergrad and grad studies. I am very interested in U-M Ann Arbor but I have been told before that Michigan does not get a lot of sunlight... that it is cloudy a great deal of time or at least overcast. Is this true? About how many days a week is it cloudy/overcast where it would affect the quantity and quality of the sunlight? Thank you.

Hi, I am a Madame Alexander doll from 1958. She is about 22 to 23 inches tall and has curly short brown hair. She has sleep eyes that are grey/white in the irises. Her mouth is slightly open and smiling. She is wearing a pink dress with lace collar and polka dots. I was told that her name is Kathleen. She is marked MME Alexander 1958 on the back of her head.

In terms of condition. She has no stains, tears, or marks. She has some dust but can be easily cleaned with a damp washrag. Her hair is a little mated but can be brushed out with some effort. Her eyes open and close easily. Her head, arms, and legs' joints are secure and move great (and hold position after moving them into place). She is heavy.

I've wondered this question for quite a while (since I was 5) and finally decided to ask. Why do cats sometimes sit there with their tongue part way out of their mouths? Example, my cat D, I'll glance over at her and half the time the tip or more of her tongue will be just hanging there outside her mouth. Why do they do that?

These are the meds I take on a daily basis.... metformin, naporsyn, and allegra. I take the naporsyn (spelling?) for severe TMJ (jaw problem). Sometimes the naporsyn isn't enough so I take over the counter pain relievers. Also sometimes the allegra (for allegries) isn't enough so I take over the counter allegry meds. I've noticed that everytime I take something with a tylenol product in it (like tylenol allegry, even the off brands/ store brands) my right arm hurts like crazy and I get very nausated. Then I get round dark ugly bruises on my arms and legs (at the elbows and knees).

What's going on? I know I need to see a doctor but quiet frankly I'm too scared to, I'm scared its something serious. What's wrong with my body?

I ask because I am weak teeth that are breaking (genes, past poor oral hygiene, meds used as a kid). I currently have an absessed tooth and have tmj in my jaw. I was told I would need a root canal or would have to pull all four back teeth (so I wouldn't outset the jaw...3 teeth are bad, one tooth in good). I have considered full dentures in the past but have been steered away from the idea by my parents (both denture wearers) and my hubby (also a denture wearer). I want to know from others...what are the pros and cons of full dentures? If you have them, do you regret them, if so why? Thanks.

Hi, my neighbor tied his short haired puppy outside my apartment bedroom window early today and just left her there. She is whining and shivering. It is supposed to get to 35 degrees tonight. He left her with no food or water. He has problems and does illegal drugs and I'm thinking she was just too much for him or something. Anyway, I can adopt her (my cat hates ALL other animals). So what do I do? She is preventing me from sleeping. Thank you.

I pick up after myself and the kids and do light (i.e. dishes and pickup) housework. How much should I charge? Should I charge per day or per hour and much?

I get really bad headaches with nausea, vomiting, and sweating whenever bright light (such as sunlight at noon time) hits my eyes. I don't know what causes it but I am going to an eye-doctor soon to find out. My insurance will cover either the basic exam (then will give me a pair of glasses) OR the contact lenses exam and $150 of contacts. So I'm trying to decide between contacts and glasses. I'd prefer contacts (currently I'm wearing glasses but have worn contacts in the past...before the light sensitivity began), but I need to know if it will help with the light sensitivity or if it will make the problem worse.

My kitten D (yes that's her real name) loves to eat bread. We got her from a family who could no longer keep her and they warned us that she was rip open bread packages to eat the bread inside. Well, she does....a lot. The only way to keep her from doing this is to hide the bread in zip-loc bags high up. She is 7 months old, spayed, and her bred is ragga-muffin. Is there a health reason why she would be doing this? Is it bad for her to eat bread? Should I make her stop and if so how? Thank you for your replies.

I have 8 peace lilies at my home. Number One is in the window of my office which is facing eastish. It is sagging greatly...the leaves are pretty much laying on my desk. Numbers Two and Three are on a low table in my dining room between the dining room table and a southish facing window......they are surrounded by (in other pots of course) azeala cuttings, and small trees...they are sagging a little. Numbers Four and Five are above Two and Three sitting on the dining room table....they are sagging enough that some of the leaves are touching the table. Numbers Six and Seven are in the back kitchen window (north facing) and are doing descent...I haven't noticed any sagging. Finally Number Eight is on the Kitchen table about 4 or more feet away from ANY window and is not sagging but the edges are browning. I have overwatered the plants causing the water to drip to the floor. Watering is each Monday. I was very sick for a two weeks and missed a watering. What am I doing wrong?
