  • What do I wear to this wedding?

My fiance's best friend from elem & middle school is getting married next month. I have no idea what to wear. Now I have been to a ton of weddings but this one is different because the groom is a "juggalo" and the bride is a stripper/bar tender. I have been told that I can come across as rude or snobby to some of the people from my fiance's past since they tend to do things a bit different than I was brought up doing but it is all unintentional. I feel like I ruined my soon-to-be-sister-in-law's baby shower by outdressing her and want to avoid that mistake again. Send me some links to dresses that could be appropriate for a wedding, still fun, and won't outshine anyone else. Thank you!

  • Which lens should I use to shoot my first wedding?

I have a Nikon d300 and am shooting my first wedding on Sunday. I have an 18-55 mm lens and a 18-135 mm lens. I am much more comfortable with the 135 but have read that the 55 will produce better images for the wedding. I will bring them both but which should I plan on using more and what should I definitely plan on using each for? Any any other tips for shooting a wedding? I have already compiled a shot list with the bride and think I know what to expect but would like to be as prepared as possible. Thank you!

  • Where can I buy mid-quality bras?

Since I was 11, my mom has bought my bras at Victoria's Secret which is fine. I am 20 now and actually looking for things for myself and I am realizing that VS bras are not worth the money. Their quality is not wonderful and they just are not worth it. (I got a Betsey Johnson bra for Christmas and could immediately tell that it was of a much higher quality but also a much higher price tag.)

Where can I buy bras that are going to last a normal bra life expectancy (6-12 months) but not be ridiculously expensive? Can anyone tell me about the quality of bras at like Rue 21 or even like Target?

I am looking for something about the same quality as VS, but without the brand name

    I am usually a 34 A or B

    Thank you!

  • Good books for a group of mixed aged children?

I am a counselor at a summer camp ran by the city. I am starting to program plan and I have decided that I want to read like 10 minutes a day to the children as they eat their snack so they can chill out and relax a little bit. I will have kids ranging from 5-12 so I need something that will entice little ones but not bore the older crowd. The camp is eight weeks long so I was thinking something pretty lengthy or maybe a few good books. Anyone have any suggestions?

  • Can regular sex cause a regular period?

First of all, at 15 I was put on birth control because I had only had one period that lasted like ten days and nothing else for a year. After trying several pills (they all made me super nauseous), I decided on Mirena since the doctor said it would help regulate my periods and what not. I got it in Feb. 2012 and it was amazing after a few weeks of weird spotting. After having mirena for about a year, I started to spot and cramp like once a month but it comes and goes.

Now, I have been with the same partner regularly for almost six months (before I had only had sex like 4 times with the mirena) and I have been having really bad cramps, bleeding, and a terrible time with my emotions for the past like three months. Could the fact that I am now having sex more frequently have anything to do with this or is it something else? I am getting my mirena removed on Monday because I have read that it can cause problems too. Any suggestions on birth control that will eliminate periods and not cause sickness or weight gain?

    Thank you!

  • Physics homework- R1+R2=12. How do I find R1 & R2?

I am taking Physics of the Internet since I was told that it was an easy science credit and I am terrible at science and math. It is an online course (which is usually better for me since I can learn at my own pace but my professor is not answering my questions or helping much at all) Here is our homework:

Determine the total Resistance for this circuit

Determine values for I1 (top resistor) and I2 (bottom resistor). Total incoming current is 3 amps.

I found the total resistance by doing this: a. Rt=12/3 Rt=4

But I am stuck on how to find the values for I1 & I2. Can someone please explain the answer and how to find it?

    Thanks!

  • How to deal with anxiety as step-children go back to their mom?

I am in a wonderful relationship with a man who has two incredible daughters. We have been together for five months. The girls are three and five and I am just as in love with them as I am with him. We get along great. Since he works so much, we only have them every other weekend during the school year. Lately, they have been behaving absolutely awfully when it gets close to time for their mom to pick them up. The older one cries to her dad saying she doesn't want to go with her or picks out her worst clothes to wear back to her moms house because she says her mom with ruin her the pretty things that her dad buys her. It breaks my heart to see them so upset to go with their mother. I have never met the woman and I know there are two sides to every story and relationship but she seems like a pretty bad mom and I do not blame the girls for not wanting to leave the home that they are safe in. How can we alleviate this stress and anxiety that they experience before they have to leave us.

  • How to present lingerie for my boyfriends birthday?

  • Should I get my boyfriend the Amazing Spider-Man 300?

My boyfriend is a huge comic book guy. I don't really know much about them but I am trying to learn for him. He had a perfect copy of the Amazing Spider-Man 300 (Venom's first full appearance) but he had to sell it for $800 to pay for tuition for school. I found copies for like under $200 on eBay. I'm a student too, so I can't afford much more than that. Would that be a good Christmas present? I know it won't be as good as his old one but is it still a good idea? What is the difference in quality? Any other ideas for him? Thank you!

  • Problems with my Mirena and partner?

I have had the Mirena IUD for about two years and no real problems but I have also not used it while really being sexually active until recently. I had a few one night stands but with condoms before now. I am with a serious boyfriend who I will admit is much better endowed than any other partner I have had. But we aren't using condoms. He can not only feel the iud when we have sex but the strings actually cut the head of his penis. This has happened multiple times. I have also noticed painful irritation on the outside of my labia lately. What could be going on? Could my IUD actually be hurting him and should I have it removed?

  • How do I channel my emotions?

I am in a new relationship but I have never felt the way I feel about this guy. He is amazing. I have been in a few semi serious relationships before but they have always been unhealthy, with me trying to fix broken boys. Now that I have a man who I think is perfect for me, I have a really difficult time sharing my emotions with him. I just cry when I try. They aren't bad tears, just overwhelmed with emotions. He says it hurts him to see me cry but I do not know how else to express my emotions to him. I cry when he leaves. I cry when he tells me he loves me. I cry when he says other sweet things. I cry when we talk about our future together. These are all things that I want and am really happy about but I do not know how else to convey them. Also, I am not an emotional person in general. I do not cry about anything except him. I usually suspend all emotional ties to everything because I do not like to feel things. Thanks for any advice on this(:

  • How should I proceed with this guy?

I am a college sophomore, home for the summer but I go to school like two hours away. Last week I met an amazing guy. We just have this incredible spark and so much in common. He is 8 years older than me and today, he told me that he had two daughters. We have only hung out once and that was when we met (he was the mechanic at the place that changed my oil), we have just texted like nonstop since we met. We are going out to dinner on Friday. Any advice on how to navigate the age difference, children, and the fact that I am moving away in a month would be much appreciated

  • How do I prepare for tonight?

When I was 16 years old, I ended up losing my virginity to my manager at work. He was only a few years older than me and a super sweet guy. He shipped off to the army fairly soon after but we stayed friends on and off. We have always considered being more than friends but I couldn't handle the distance or stress of a military relationship so we never took things farther, plus I wanted some freedom in my first year of college. Well, now, he was honorably discharged with an injury so he is back in town. He has been back for about a month but I keep putting off hanging out with him because I am nervous. While away, he became very religious. When he was first back, I planned on seeing him but he told me it was bad timing because he was taking his relationship with God above all and didn't want to sleep with a woman that wasn't his wife and he knew that I wasn't ready for that yet.

So I am going to see him tonight and he told me he wants me to stay the night but I am nervous! I haven't seen him in so long but we have been talking for this whole time. I don't want to hurt his faith but I am also not ready to be his wife. I am not even sure what he wants. We flirt all the time and even talk about being together a little but I am so confused as to his motives, and even what I want here.

What do you think of the entire situation? And what do I bring to stay with him?!

    Thank you

  • Should I give this a chance?

So I am going to try to condence this as much as possible but it is quite lengthy and I realize this.

I lost my virginity to my manager at a tiny part time job at 16. I didn't really even know him that well, but he was sweet and I was fed up with being made fun of for my virgin status. I didn't feel some attachment after, or anything. Sex was like nothing to me. He was only 17 at the time but we quickly parted ways after, talking every so often, but not too much. He graduated that year, and shipped off to basic training for the army, I didn't really speak to him at all. While there were other guys for me and other girls for him in between, we ended up hooking up again when he came back from basic. Then he shipped out again, and I got into a real relationship with someone else (around the middle of December). We stopped talking completely until about two months ago. He was saying that he wanted to fly me out to his base to see me, and I was really enjoying the flirting. But I was still with the guy I was in the past relationship with so I stopped talking to him since I knew it would only cause problems. We ended up breaking up in a horrible way and I started talking to the army guy again. He is really a great guy and I have always wondered what it would be like to be with him since he was my first and whatever. But I am skeptical because I feel like I could be more in love with the fantasy of being an army wife than actually him. Should I let him fly me out to his base and see him or not? We skype every night between my classes and text nearly all day. I am just not sure if I really like him or the idea of my first and the army fantasy. Help (: Thank you!

  • How should I proceed?

So I just broke up with my boyfriend of 9 months, less than a week ago, but we have been shaky and unhealthy for a month. About 3 weeks ago, I started talking to this guy I met at work, but he was in a shitty relationship too. Ending mine inspired him to end his, and we have been very flirty since the break up (and honestly, even a little before). I know I do not want to rush into anyrhing, but is there any harm in continuing to hang out with him? Thank you!

  • How can I help him relax today?

My boyfriend has been working hard all week and I want to surprise him with a day dull of relaxation and just hanging out. I told him I had a ton of errands for us to run and the day was going to be tedious and busy, but actually I am going to show up at his house with movies and take out. Besides movies, what are some other cute things I can do to help him unwind?

  • What are some ideas to add to this date? ?

My boyfriend has been working hard all week long (double shifts and lots of grave yard) so I want to surprise him with a chill, relax day today.to I told him we had a full day of tedious errands to throw him off, but I figured I would show up at his house with lunch, and we would spend the day in bed, watching movies. What other cute things can I do today to help him unwind and make today fun? Thank you!

  • I need a fake doctors note to keep my cat?

My parents divorced and my dad's landlord is super cool but he says to keep my cat, I need a doctors note. I did get my cat after an accident resulting in two broken legs and slipped disks in my back for emotional support per the request of my therapist at the time, but she no longer practices in my state so I can not get ahold of her. Is there any place for me to get this letter? Thanks for helping!
