I am 29, in nursing school with only a year left, with a background in secretarial/managerial/customer service. What jobs can I get that will pay at least $10/hr and that do not require a degree. I need some ideas!!

I have absolutely no artistic inclination at all .. stick figures is about all I can draw, but I like art and I would like to take classes in it. Should I take college classes in drawing/fine arts etc, or something else? Thanks!

I had a judgment entered against me in January of this year. I could not pay it, and they would not accept payments from me. Now they began garnishing my wages. If I can somehow scrounge up the money from family members or something, can I still settle it and stop the wage garnishing?

I want a nice peep toe shoe with like a 2-2 1/2 inch heel and all I keep finding are 3 1/2-4 inch heels! Where can I find cute shoes with smaller heels?? I am 5'10'' .. I cant wear heels that high lol!

I was looking for someplace to get scuba certified for vacation, but I see that it is very cheap to get certified in Honduras while on vacation. I am a bit leary of very cheap things, and it makes me wonder what the catch is. It looks beautiful in pictures, and seems like the deal of the century for me. Any information would be appreciated.

It is about 3 weeks old, and I ran out of the solution Ive been cleaning it with. I also have been cleaning it with Dial soup in the shower. Also, its had a lot of crusties and its very hard to move it in the ear when I am not cleaning it or in the shower .. is that normal?

I got a check in the mail today for $4550. Attached was a letter stating that they had found $9100 of grant money available to me, and when I cashed this first check I would have 5 days to give them a 10% cut, and they would mail me the second check and I would again have 5 days to give them a 10% cut. When I went to their website, and clicked on the agent, it said that I had to submit this 10% in the form of a GreenDot MoneyPak, which I gather is a prepaid debit card, basically. While the $4550 check is very tempting, this seems an aweful lot like a scam, but how could they scam me after I have cashed the check?

I just filed with turbo tax. I had paid about $3600 in taxes throughout the year and am getting $3600 back in my tax return. Do you think that will be a red flag? I donated a ton of old clothes amounting to about $2500 all together, and also had a good amount of out of pocket medical expenses. I also paid $3000 in tuition for the year. Iono .. I just dont really want to get audited because I dont have all of my reciepts for everything.

Would I still be able to settle the debt for about half of what I owe if that is all I have, or is it now set in stone that I have to pay the full amount? How long do I have to pay it now, and what if I cant?

Even after I pour a bottle of liquid plmuber down the drain, it is better, but still not draining like it should. I like in an apartment, and the super said that that is the way all of the showers are. Its really frustrating to have to stand in 6 inches of water every time I take a shower. I am not allowed to call a plumber in without the super's approval, and he wont give it to me. Is there anything else I can do? Its been this way for over a year, since I moved in.

I got my Stafford loan for this year of school, and filled out my new FAFSA for the 2008-2009 school year. Do I also have to reapply each year for the loan itself? The whole loan process is very confusing to me.

I am unable to pay it, and they are unwilling to take monthly payments. They have been calling me once a day for about the past year. My question is, will this just continue indefinitely until I can pay them, or will they try to repo my car and stuff, or what?

Or rather, would my glasses iritate an industrial piercing?

Also, if not, how can you tell that the electric to the water heater is off? I am not sure which breaker goes to what.
