I'm trying to find a conference or workshop or refresher course that is is several days to 2 weeks longs. Any suggestions?

I'm actually trying to find a chronological list of every Bible movie ever made...but I thought I'd start here....

I'm a Graphic Designer & I HATE HATE HATE Word & never use it. But I'm making name tag templates for other staff to use. All I want to do is put the design of the name tags behind text boxes so all the staff has to do is type the name. I have tried a watermark but the image prints low res, I tried to insert a picture & send it to the back but that always interferes with text. Finally I used "page background>color>fill effects" to insert a picture. Finally the document looks like I want it to but then when I print, the background image is 20 times too big! What the crap????

I have a recipe that calls for ground ham or ham loaf (I have never heard of either). I have heard of ground pork...is there a difference?

Many times you have a document, say like a 3rd page, where it's easy to drag a guide at a quarter inch or whatever from the even sides...but how do you precisely drag a quarter inch guide on the 3.6666" side??

The other day I used the "New Guide" dialog box to start setting quarter inch guides & somehow I accidentally set all 4 margin guides at once. Anyone know how I did that????

OK, so I knew this "of" girl through lots of friends in common on Facebook & have seen her around but I've never met her. She's pretty young for me but the the thing I'm really struggling with is how to meet her. I know where she works but only because I found that out through Facebook. I think it would be creepy to approach her in anything I have learned from Facebook stalking, haha. So how do I meet her???

I'm wondering where all that cliche pirate stuff comes from that you see in movies & cartoons? Eye patches, earrings, peg legs, hooks, the hats... I'm sure a lot of it was just the dress of that era, but are there specific images that people get that stuff from?

I was in a fender bender the other day. Totally my fault. I know you're not supposed to admit fault but I did. Anyway, luckily the guy agreed to work it out with me so we don't have to get insurance involved (my deductible is $1000). The thing is, I BARLEY scuffed his fender flare and it totally jacked my bumper & shattered my side marker light. If I was him I would have just let it go. Anyway, he called yesterday & said he found a replacement flare for $200 + $50 to install. I just looked them up & they're only $100. Am I getting scammed? Or should I just suck it up & write him a check? What would you do? (I gave him my insurance info)

Do i need a special mop & fluid? Or can I just mop it with soapy water?

I have used Debrox in my ear & it looks clean when it comes out...my ear feels intermittently like a nail is being driven into my head & it seems to be linked to a super sensitive patch on top of my head...soo weird....
