I've had her a week, but I work full time and usually leave the house at 7am returning 7pm. I also live alone but do have a huge fenced in back yard and five year old mini pinscher. I'm really torn up about this. Help!

Ok techies... Quick quiz. I'm burning music from my itunes to CDs but they won't play on standard cd players (like in the car). What's the fix? Does it have to be in a certain format or is itunes holding my music hostage?

have a 2005 Ford Escape. It makes a hissing sound from behind the steering column that stops when the brakes are hit. It sounds more kind of like air being blown and stops almost immediately after the brakes are pressed. Does anybody have a clue about this before I go to my local Ford Dealer to get ripped off?

I use two remote controls, one for the cable and one for the television itself. In order to watch cable, the television must be set to channel three. I cannot find the television controller and can only watch DVD's. Does anybody know a fix for this? Sincerely, frustrated with the flu in fort worth

I have a 2002 Honda Shadow ACE with under 2,700 miles on it that refuses to start. It has been sitting a while, but I replaced the battery, and keep it on a trickle charger. The engine does turn over but it refuses to start. I sprayed some Starting Fluid into the carburetor and still nothing. The engine safety stop button is in off position, I just filled the gas tank with 93 octane fuel plus octane booster, and I am out of ideas. Any advice??? Help !

My teenage daughter is about to get her drivers license. I have an existing home and auto policy with a major carrier. Does anybody know the best way to get my daughter coverage without her totally screwing my "safe" insurance record, history, rating and jacking up my premiums if (and when) she gets into an accident? Any help is appreciated !

The wife and I purchased a new home (built 2002) from Horizon Homes in Fort Worth, Texas. As a new home owner, I am concerned about a.) hairline cracks in the walls (very thin cracks that run vertically in the walls); and b.) when we walk upstairs, it sounds like elephants stampeding - the floors "creak" and we were told to renail down the paneling. Can someone please tell me if these hairline fractures and weak floors are normal? As a first time homeowner, I am VERY concerned and want to take the home manufacturer up on their warranty if necessary. Thanks in advance !!! John Perry

I discussed with my manager my wanting to be "groomed for management". He stated he had "more of a leadership role" in mind for me.

I don't think I am stupid, I accidentally stumbled into getting my M.B.A.; but I don't quite understand this.

Is this a key word for something? Does anybody know the "insider" meaning of grooming someone for "leadership" versus "management"? Any managers out there that have used this terminology?

P.S. I spent way too many hours on the semantics of management versus leadership, I'm o.k. with that. I just want some clue of what my manager meant.

I have a fourteen year old step daughter with a lot of angst. I recently discovered she has her own profile on two websites (www.mygothicheart.com and www.vampiredomain.com); and as a responsible parent, I went in and deleted these websites.

Her aunt and grandmother however feel that she should be allowed to keep these profiles as "it engages her self expression and individuality".

If you have a fourteen year old girl would you allow her to have profiles on these websites?

I recently got my M.B.A. from a fourth string school and thought it would open up all sorts of doors for me... NOT! I have always not lasted at companies for longer than three years due to getting wrapped up in politics, getting "feelings" hurt, pissing people off, etc... What is wrong with me? Is it my personality? I just want to work for one company and stay with them until retirement. I don't like being the "new" guy every three years. I applied for a Texas concealed handgun license and actually chose to tell the truth and disclose that I take antidepressants. I am not crazy, and I am more mentallly stable than 80 % of the population. However, due to an arcane law that disallows people on meds to have a CHL, I was denied. I hired an attorney who promptly closed shop and ran off with my retainer. I am being denied the right to be able to defend my family because of this. Criminals don't apply for CHL's, and where is the state going to be if me or my family are attacked? Does anybody have any experience with this? How can I legally get my CHL?

HELP ! I have an M.B.A. in "Administrative Management" that is really not helping me find a good career. Does anybody know what I can do career wise with this General Business degree (it does not have a specialty like Finance, Accounting, Info Tech, Marketing although I have taken all those core courses.)

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima GXE with the 3.5 liter V6. I have asked several dealerships but no one will give me a straight answer. The owners manual says AT LEAST 89 Octane is "recommended for maximum performance". WILL USING 87 OCTANE OR E85 ETHANOL DAMAGE MY ENGINE?
