i want a php code to achieve the following

1. lets say a request for www.mysite.com/index.php?p=prince

2. index.php recieves the value "prince"

3. it checks in directory "/" if any filename "prince.php" exists,

4a. if yes, it redirects to the file "prince.php"

4b. else it creates the file with the name "prince.php" and redirects to it

my manager has a Targus 4-port USB hub, and a Toshiba USB 20. External HDD....The Hub works well with any other USB device like USB mouse, 2Gb flash drive and even my PSP, but the problem is the External HDD isnt recognised when connected via the hub, but is recognised when connected directly to the system...

Any suggestions?? i mean is there any other driver i need to install before it is recognised??or what could be the problem??

i want to be able to design and make my very own circuits and write programs for them (not really for sale, much like a hobby),

i wanted to study electrical/electronic or computer engineering, but ended up studying Information Technology....so my question is....

1. spending 5yrs doing a second degree

2. doing that in my masters

3. going to MIT (obvious)

i mean, u know, something like a 1 year course, or some private institution like NIIT, i just want to be good at building my own chips....any ideas???

i was running ubuntu 9.04 a while ago, but i just installed version 10 in another partition because i couldnt do the online upgrade and the cd upgrade.

my question is, i do not want to re-download any of the softwares i had in version 9, is there any way to copy my softwares to the new installation? i mean is there any folder that needs to be copied, and then my softwares will be back?

I have a question...all systems in an internet cafe all have the same internet ip address(because of NAT or ICS or something)right?

lets say i want to telnet a particular system on the cafe, it doesnt work!!!

I am a Oracle beginner(no knowledge)

Very Fast Learner ( due to EXcessive free time, and Very Fast internet connection with determination )

So i wanna begin with oracle but im left with a choice....what operating system( WINDOWS vs LINUX ) is preferred to learn...please i need informative answers with reasons and specifications.:D:D:D...thanks!!

What should i do?????...Boot problem?

I was running windows 7(d:) so i tried formatting my c:(containing my old windows vista), it didnt format complete(windows was unable to complete the format) and now after restarting,

1...my system cannot read from my hard disk

2...i cannot access my bios setup

3...cant read os installation disks(boot from disk)

4...all i get is a blank screen with a blinking underscore in the upper left corner of the screen

...

what should i do?????

my vista partition was c:,so i installed my windows 7 on d:,

after booting from d: i decided to wipe my vista c: and use only windows 7 so i tried formatting the c:.....which started the problem.....

does this have anything to do with my MBR

when using 4 webbrowser controls on a single form,,

The problem is, any time i try to install either a newest or an upgrade of a software like FL Studio7 or Maya 8.5, either

1. the software setup doesn't load or

2. after installing the software, when it is loaded it builds up memory in the task manager and after a while its gone into thin air.

if any of you guys know hows how to solve this problem, please tell me steps.
