I have received a lot of texts from people that send their phone number in letter form (eight one six-4 zero 2, etc.) Is this a new trend to make yourself seem inteligent, or is there a reason this is so common? It irritates me because if it were in number format, I could touch it on my phone and it will automatically dial. In letter form, I have to try to remember it or write it down and get frustrated enough, I won't respond at all.

I have a 1984 Mercedes that has a whine that needs power steering fluid. No one at the auto parts store can locate it and it is not shown in the manual for the car. Where can I find out how to fill it myself?

We had a really bad church experience. But I am ready to find a new church and let the healing begin and get back to work doing what God gifted me to do, which is working with kids. But my husband won't even talk about it. He is so hurt and unforgiving and I am torn whether to do what God is calling me to do or stand by my husband. I'm afraid if I go without him, it could cause a big rift between us and our life has been good for the last couple of years. We were close to divorce once and I don't want to rock the boat again.(It was because my pastor said I should divorce my husband if he wouldn't come to church) I knew that my vows to my husband were forever and so I left the church. I have stayed close to God and my husband and I watch television ministries and read our bible. But am I wrong for not honoring God with my gift?

My daughter's fiance who is 19 bought this white beanie with a bill from Pac Sun. To me it looks like the snow bunnie hats women wore on the ski slopes in the 70's so I can't take his hat seriously. I stifle a laugh every time I see it because I see a girl in a pink snow jacket wearing this hat down the slopes. I know times have changed and fashion is different with each generation, but shouldn't he look in a mirror first?

I have heard the prosperity message so much it is really making me frustrated. I have such a passion for the poor and it really makes me angry to see pastors that have people in their own church who can't buy food or pay their bills and can justify driving an Escalade with $4000 worth of wheels and tires on it and have a house that is worth more than I will make in my lifetime.

The prosperity God talks about is for us to give away. He wants to bless us so that we can bless the poor, the sick, the widows, the children.

What do you think the world is thinking when they see this misuse of God's blessing? And has anyone ever received salvation because they were impressed with a person's SUV or fancy home? That is not what my Jesus is all about. I hope that the true men and women of God will step up and speak out against this self serving prosperity message. Is this really the way God wants our tithes to be spent? Pray about it and give me your feelings on this.

Since I filed bankruptcy, will It be best for me to file short form as I did before or is it better for me to have a tax preperation company file long form? I'm not sure if filing long form is beneficial. We have one child as a dependant.

I asked athiests to explain their unbelief and got all really good answers. Now, Christians, why do you believe what you do? Were you raised Christian, did you have an experience, did God reveal Himself to you in some way, and do you question your belief? I would like real answers, not preaching please.

A 16 yr. old boy is dating a 15 yr. old girl who tells everyone that her parents are drug users and her dad sexually abused her , etc., etc., etc. There is more drama in this girls life . Sometimes she seems to be saying all these things to get attention. She has stated that Family Services have come to investigate many times. She just was in youth court. Very rebel attitude. What would you do as the parent of the 16 yr. old boy?

I believe that free speech does exist and everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, when did this country decide that hate crime language is O.K. to spew at a PAYING audience? Why shouldn't the group of people offended sue his *ss off?

I have noticed that alot of people don't use capitolization or punctuation and do use abbreviations for words when communicating on-line. It just about drives me nuts when I am trying to decipher something that looks like it was written by a 5 year old. The teachers were very strict when I was in school (late 1970's) about the correct way to write. Why does it not seem to apply to writing on the internet? If some people can't send an e-mail that is readable, what hope do they have of submitting a resume to an employer? I'm beginning to think that it is just laziness. What do you think? Am I too obsessive/compulsive?
