I have a 20 month old GSD and from day 1 (he was 12 weeks old when we got him) he has always barked and whined at other dogs this is worse when he is on the lead.

I have taken him to training which has not been cheap and this has still not been resolved being told that its excitement and anxiety not agression when he is off lead with other dogs he is fine and will play happily, he is very well trained but as soon as he sees another dog it's like he forgets everything and just goes mental!

I have used distraction techniques, walking the other way, correction on the lead, sitting him still everything I can think of has anyone got any advice or tips?

what are peoples advice on a bark collar not one that shocks him but one that lets off a scent?

if I am able to prove that someone has made a false police report along with a fraudulent insurance claim against me what action can I take? I have sent my insurers a letter informing them that I have no knowledge of any such incident and will be fighting this claim!

My partner was arrested and has answered to bail once only to be re-bailed for allegedly causing an accident with his driving however at the time this occurred he was not in the vicinity and we have receipts to prove this as he was at the vets with our dog is it a positive or negative thing he wasn't charged and re-bailed instead?

The police are still investigating this and last week a new witness to the "incident" came forward after two months and what do you know an insurance claim also goes in along with them telling my insurers there car was damaged (but there is no damage to my car) and the police have stated no damage was caused to this car and why report this after 2 months to me it's suspicious to say the very least any advice would be appreciated...

I've booked to go at the end of June for 2 weeks and i'm not looking forward to it, the hotel we are going to some family members have been before and said it is well out of the way of the main strip and nice and quiet but reading reviews Laganas seems like it will be full of drunken kids!

Has anyone stayed in this hotel before ? any views on Laganas?

I have a 8month old GSD and I'm having a few problems which I want to deal with sooner rather than later.

I have searched the Internet and have found Bark Busters training who come to you home which I feel is best as my dog will be in his own environment has anyone used them or aware of them. I would appreciate any information...thanks!

I take my 51/2 month GS puppy to socialisation and training classes on a monday when I can as it is not always possible to go due to me working nights and carry on his training and socialisation throughout the week.

However lately I've been wondering if once a week really makes a difference when I'm doing it all week long and walking him with other dogs for him to socialise him with I spend a lot of time training him at home and he is brilliant already.

I would appreciate all of your constructive views and opinions!

I currently have my GSD Pup on dry Wagg and I will be keeping him on dry food but what puppy/ dog foods do you rate?
