Why does the new boyfriend insist on telling me about his past relationships including details of intamacy, I have told him these are things I really don't want to know, I feel I don't need to know the details...I understand everyone has a past and sometimes the details of that past don't necessarly have to be discussed in great length, but he seems to want to do this, I would like to hear your opinion on why he does this.

This is a new relationship and I understand every one has a past, but he insist in telling me his, I have told him more than once, that who and how he was having relationships in the past is not important to me, but he says, "that his past sex partner's made him into the man he is today," Why does he feel this need to share details of his past sexual partners with me, knowing I don't want to or really need to know?

but when an older woman has a much younger boyfriend, their relationship is constantly judged and frowned on. Why is that?
