  • Employment Age Descrimination?

    My girl-friend was recently denied a full time position at her current job as a cashier. The employer stated that they did not want to hire her full time because of her age (she is 22) and because she is not mature enough.

    Are they in violation of any law or regulation?

  • DoCmd.OpenReport MS Access with Parameters?

    I am attempting to open a report in preview mode which has a single parameter of [BillingPeriod] type Text. Here is the code that I have however, it will not work.

    lstSQL is a selection box, I know that it is pulling the correct selection. However, when I run the code I get the following error:

    Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression '(2Q2007)'.

    Dim stDocName As String

    Dim BillingPeriod As String

    BillingPeriod = Me.lstSQL

    stDocName = "Billing Statement"

    DoCmd.OpenReport stDocName, acPreview, , BillingPeriod

  • Sound dampening mats?

    I am building a computer that I know is going to have a relatively high noise level. In order to reduce the noise as much as possible I am mounting everything with rubber grommets. That will reduce any rattle associated with loose mounting. However, the noise from the fans will still be a problem.

    Now on to my question.

    Has anyone here used sound dampening materials such as the one in the link below. I have never used matting and was trying to decide if I should give this product a go or not.

  • How do you draw a relay?

    I am familar with basic electronic symbols in diagrams but I am trying to figure out how to draw a SPDT relay. Currently I am showing it as a inductor and then to the right of it a SPDT switch. Is this ok or should I change it?
