I had to switch the electricity off and when it came back on there was no internet connection at all. Reset the router about half dozen times~now working with the yellow ethernet cable but there is still no wireless network showing (the neighbours' ones are). Orange/amber light is flashing (O2 wireless ll router). Tried the wireless button on the front but daredn't reset again in case I lose the whole connection again. Any ideas?? Contacting O2 online is a waste of time~just giving set answers that I can find on google which mean nothing to a simpleton :) x

Rocky (aka Slinky/Sausage) went missing from Irthlingborough Northants on 15.11.11. The couple were on honeymoon and left the dog with an elderly lady. The couple only got back to the news a couple of days ago and they and the old lady are devastated. He's a dachshund/Jack Russell cross, mainly black & tan with a full tail. This is a serious request for help as this family have had an awful run of bad luck lately so please, no silly or sarcastic comments. I've put him on doglost, national pet register, lostdogsuk, lostdoggies, he has a facebook group,(https://www.facebook.com/groups/findslin%E2%80%A6 he's been on ever local group on there, phoned vets, local kennels, rescues, postered places and now running out of ideas...:(

I'm trying to raise money for a local (registered) animal rescue charity. I've sold stuff, begged friends and family to the point of losing them :) , bombarded companies with emails asking for donations, all sorts. This is alongside working full time. I've had a few donations here and there but nowhere near enough for the time invested. I know I'm lucky to get anything for the charity but I need more ideas. They do a lot of hard work and there isn't a single paid worker at the sanctuary. Can anyone think of anything unusual? They themselves go out and do the 'tin-shakin' and have odd fund-raising days but they don't raise enough for the work they need to do. Thanks in advance xx

hi-i am using the everyclick search thing to raise money for the local animal sanctuary...however, the total seems to have stuck on 20-odd pence despite using it for days. I've double-checked and DEFINITELY still have it as my default search. It's not as good as the big names but am willing to plod on with it if it actually raises a few pence. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong as it's not living up to it's name :(

For some unknown reason a "friend" has printed out my friends facebook and handed it, not only to our manager, but the regional manager. We work in a care home and nothing breaches any confidentiality ( this is confirmed by the manager) but the matter has been passed down via the area manager too. Obviously some of my comments are included on the printout so it involves me too. There is nothing "dodgy" on it and there seems no reason for it other than to be malicious. I am starting grievance procedures (via work) against the person-more to make them think twice next time than anything else but can anything be done via facebook itself? I've trawled the privacy pages but there doesn't seem to be anything specific to this kind of thing?? Obviously the "friend " has been removed/ blocked etc etc. Any opinions/ advice? ...apart from "get over it"....:))))

It's not the 'supercook' one. You enter two or more recipes and it comes up with various recipes. Anyone any idea?

I have a vinyl converter which, when I play records thru' my laptop sounds bl00dy awful-the songs skips and stick. However....after trying different records, uninstalling/re-installing software etc etc, I tried playing them thru' another stereo-and they play fine. I'm no computer genius so need help (in idiot's language) as to what the problem is....:0/

Just need a rough idea of how much to save up? We got the whole system replaced 18 months ago and didn't think we needed a radiator in the workroom but it's FREEZING in there!! Any idea?

Hi....had my laptop for a year and had no problems. Now when i try to burn a cd, it says something like "disc burner or software not found"??? Tried various cd brands and they don't work. Re-installed i-tunes and tried burning thru' windows player thing but nothing :0( Is it likely to be what was a bloody expensive computer??? Any help appreciated-idiots guides only please

Asked this question b4 and was advised to google CD driver and my computer model. I got onto the Dell site for downloads but can't make any sense of it so trying again...can anyone send me a specific link for the download I would need. Know i am being stupid but got no idea!! :0)

ok-shane ritchie just did a snail joke about this old song on the Paul O'Grady show.It's in French I think and sounds like "shon son dare moon rat tat tat ta ta...play encore"!! Ok that isn't much help but it's really bugging me...I think it's from the 70s but not 100% xxx
