  • feeding a 6 month baby?

Is anyone else scared to start baby food? i have a 9 and 10 year old, but my 6 month old put us on a scare by being allergic to his milk, so we think. he had rash all over his body from his enfamil gentlease, so we switched to the nutramigen and he has been fine on it for about month and half. i will only give him pears and prunes since i know he isn't allergic to them. i'm just so scared he will break out or even worse get choked up and swell and can't breath. my husband says i'm paranoid, but i'm just older now and worry more about things. my other two kids were probably eating table food by now. But i just want to go slower and make sure. What do you think. We go for checkup next week and i will ask dr then too. thanks

  • can 6 month baby have allergies?

can they have allergies this young? i don't think they test this early, but i think my son is allergic to everthing. he developed a lactose allergy, which we switched to nutramgenin. he wore a shirt on night that wasn't washed yet, new, and he broke out all over his back. we have cats, and i just wondered could this be why he is so stuffy like? a friend brought her little dog over the other day, and he started really getting stuffy when dog was here. what about pillows? i had to have a certain kind of pillow when i was a little girl. his maw maw is on allergy shots, i was just wondering.

Did anyone else mess their babies sleeping schedule up last night, new year eve? We went to church and he slept until 11, then up playing and finally got fussy about 12:45. So we cam home and got him into be. Slept all night. Now today he has been very fussy and not taking good naps and just seem overall restless. Poor thing. Now I wish I just stayed home!! He normally goes to bed about 10:30-11:00.
