I got bit 10 days ago and they itch so bad at night I can't sleep. I've tried cortisone creme which helps a little. Neosporin makes it worse. Soap and water doesn't help. Scratching heck out of them doesn't even help. They don't look infected. I have maybe 30 of them on my feet. Walked thru a hill in the dark in Florida for vacation.

Any suggestions?

My friend was fired after a female employee claimed sexual harassment. He has never had a complaint before. He's an assistant manager. Interestingly the manger has had several complains against him and has had to attend sensitivity classes more than once but has still kept his job. The manger could not find proof of the harassment on the video tape of the day the harassment was supposed to take place, but they fired him.Is there any recourse?

I need opinions. My nieces told me to stop wearing old lady jeans and buy boot-cut. I did and I like them but I wonder about dressier jeans, pants and slacks. I really don't feel like an old lady and don't want to dress like one but...

The only thing worse than a middle-aged woman still wearing decade outdated clothes is a middle-aged woman dressing like a teen!

I'm curious about what you did and your thoughts about it.

The list of poisonous or harmful plants have almost every one of my house plants on the list. Most with out details. Like does it just make them have a tummy ache and throw up or kill them? What parts of the plant will do this! I'd keep plants I've cared for for years if all I was risking is tummy ache for my new kitty. I'd just put them as out of reach as possible. And give kitty a squirt of water if he messes with them.

I brought my kitten home two days ago but he's still confined to one room while I figure out if he's going to use the litter box faithfully--and decide what to do about my plants. Do they have a plant adoption rescue for abandoned plants? LOL

Aren't they all authors? Please help me define.

I was told that in a recent court case (about two weeks ago) it was determined that it was illegal to search a car if someone is pulled over for suspected DUI or something close to this. I'm from Illinois and I'm not sure if it's federal or state.

Does anyone know anything about this? Can you explain it to me?

Possession of 3 grams of cannabis is a Class B misdemeanor in IL. Supervision is automatic for first offense so with time there will be not record of offense. But Having the pipe is a class A misdemeanor and a person guilty of this can NOT get supervision and will have a record and conviction.

This doesn't make sense to me. It's reasonable assumed a person with that small of a quantity of cannabis is going to smoke it even though the supplies to do so is absent.

In Illinois. He has never been arrested before. Had one minor speeding ticket (40 in a 30 or something close) two years ago. He's 21.

What is likely to happen if he's convicted of these charges?

How likely is he to get probation, go to jail etc.

Please do not answer with lectures about how wrong what he did is or that he deserves punishment etc. I'm a scared Mom right now. This just happened, I'll have to tackle those issues later.

My son had a bike accident. The coat is soaked with blood and is stiff in areas with it. It's black and you can't really see the blood so I am not worried about stains. I do want it sanitary! I just don't feel dry cleaning will really get the blood out.

I welcome informed suggestions.

FYI: My son is okay, but has lots of stitches on his chin, messed up knuckles, and a few misc. bruises.
