  • How reliable is a 2007 Toyota Camry?

I've heard a lot of good things about the '07 Camry, but Consumer Reports says that it has been known to have engine cooling problems. For anyone who's owned an '07 Camry, have you found this to be true? Are there any other significant problems that you've encountered?

  • Can I remove maps from my Garmin Nuvi 1350 LMT?

I'm planning a trip to Europe this Fall, and I'd love to be able to use my GPS on the trip. The problem is, the preloaded maps for the U.S. and Canada that came with my GPS take up almost all of the space on the device. Is there a way to remove the North American maps on the GPS so I can have enough room to download the European maps? If so, would it be possible to replace the removed maps back on the GPS once I come back from my trip?

  • Question about copyrights?

I'm planning to make my own graduation announcements this year instead of buying the ridiculously overpriced ones that my university is trying to sell me. What I'd like to know is if it's alright if I put my university's logo on my announcements if the announcements aren't sold by them. I found a picture of the logo online and I was just going to insert that in to make the announcements look more official - is that a breach of copyright?

  • Any suggestions on how to end my story?

I'm trying to finish a short story for my fiction class, but am having a hard time figuring out how to end it. The story is about a girl who buy a magical book and ends up having her soul trapped inside the book. The book is sentient, but has no soul of its own and must have one inside of it to keep "living." Once the current captured soul nears the end of its life, the book must find a new one to sustain it. I want my heroine to either escape and destroy the book or to be unable to escape and have to destroy the book and herself to keep it from capturing anyone else. The problem is, I have no idea how to make her escape, or how her soul can destroy the book from the inside. Suggestions?

  • WordPress Vs. Blogger?

I'm looking into starting a blog, and I've heard really good things about both WordPress and Blogger. This will be my first time doing a blog, and I've heard that Blogger is better for first-time bloggers, but I want to make sure that I know all of my options. I want something that's free, and that won't require me to spend hours trying to figure out how to use it. I also want something that will let me customize the design of my blog. I don't know if either site requires it, but I do know a bit of CSS and HTML, although I'd rather not have to use those! Also, do either of these sites make your blogs completely open to the public? This is something I'll want only family and close friends to see, and I don't want random people stumbling across my blog and reading my thoughts. However, not all of my family/friends have blogs, so I want them to be able to read it without having to sign up and create a blog themselves. If you use either one of these sites (or both), I'd love to know what you like and dislike about the one you use. If you use something else entirely, feel free to tell me about that, too!

  • Mass Effect 2 glitch?

For some reason, all the characters (with one or two exceptions) appear to have solid black eyes without any white or irises. Also, every party member appears to have solid black armor. At first I thought it was part of the game, but was told that things were definitely supposed to look different! Someone suggested that the problem was that my display driver wasn't up to date or didn't meet the game requirements, but I checked and it meets the requirements and I just updated it this month. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

  • How can I get a white streak in my hair?

I'm thinking about getting either a white streak in my hair or having the tips of my hair colored white. Do I need to bleach my hair white or is there a white dye I can buy? I've heard getting white hair is tricky, and I should only get it done by a stylist. True or not? If you've had something like this done before, I'd really appreciate your advice!

  • How do I protect my leatherette boots?

I got a pair of leatherette boots this past November and already the faux leather is starting to peel. I think this is from the large amount of sidewalk salt they've been getting exposed to this winter. Is there a way to protect my boots from becoming more damaged? Is there also any way to repair the peeling leather?

  • Question about copyrights?

I love writing and stories of any kind, and recently I've noticed that several of my favorite video games would be fun to read as written stories. I've considered writing one or two of them out and eventually posting them on fanfiction websites. I'd plan to use most of the original dialogue and events in order to keep the story as close to the original as possible, while adding in a few changes to make it run more smoothly as a written work. However, I am concerned about any copyright rules that I might violate. I would, of course, give full credit for everything to the makers and not claim the story, characters, etc. as my own. I'm not planning to make a profit either. I'm just someone who enjoys writing and would like to see some video games written out as stories for other fans to read and enjoy. Would this be legal to do?

  • Windows Media Player freezes computer?

About two weeks ago, my Windows Media Player started freezing my computer whenever I tried to listen to music. When I try to start the program, I become unable to click on anything, close the player, or access Task Manager on my computer to force the player to shut down. I end up having to shut my computer down by pressing the on/off button and restarting it. I've run virus scans(I have McAfee), but my computer seems to be clear. I have a Windows Vista laptop that's only about two years old and version 11 of Windows Media. Is this a problem with the player, or could there be a hidden virus somewhere? Any advice would be great!

  • Where can I get my ears pierced safely?

I really want to get ear piercings, but I don't know where to go. I've heard so many negative things said about getting piercings done at the mall, so I don't want to go there. Can anyone suggest a professional piercing company that will do my piercings correctly and safely? Preferably one that's not too expensive! :)

  • Christian missions in little known countries?

Does anyone know of an organization that focuses on helping some of the lesser known countries of the world? I often hear about helping people in China, Africa, Mexico, etc. from the Christians around me, but with all of the countries in the world there's got to be others that need just as much help that aren't being promoted as much. Could someone could suggest a way of reaching out to these other countries?

  • Is anyone saving their first kiss for their wedding? Christians especially?

I'm a Christian and one of my goals is to save my first kiss for my wedding day. I know it may seem a bit extreme to a lot of people, but it's very important to me. I was just curious to see if anyone else out there is doing the same thing. :)

  • Question about eyeshadow?

I've rarely used eyeshadow and I'm really not sure how to put it on - usually I've had a friend help me. Any advice? I don't want it to look too overdone...sort of subtle, but just enough to draw attention to my eyes. Also, what colors would you suggest? I have kind of pale skin and dark green eyes. Thanks!

  • Footloose dance?

I've seen some people do a dance to the song "Footloose" and I was wondering if it's the dance from the movie (I haven't seen it) and could explain all of the steps to me. I know there were several steps to the right, a clap, then several to the left and another clap, followed by a turn ( I think) then kicking while throwing out their hand opposite from the leg being kicked. I think the whole thing may be repeated? This may not make any sense at all, but if anyone understands what I'm trying to ask, could you tell me how to do this dance in detail or where I can find the steps online?

  • Pursuit of personal gain?

I've been trying to find info on this topic, but I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know of any good websites, books, or research done on this? Specifically, how does pursuing personal power and monetary gain affect the seeker and others involved? Can there be good or bad effects from seeking one's own gain? Do people who look for these things more often find happiness or disappointment?

  • What are different countries doing to stop global warming?

I don't believe in global warming myself, but I was just wondering what steps countries are taking to actually do something about what they believe with this issue. Are there actually any plans on how they'll 'stop' global warming? Also, could someone tell me a bit about the Kyoto thing?
