My boyfriend is in the Navy and I m going to see him in two and a half weeks. (Yay! ) I am currently not on any birth control and I really want to be so we can have fun without worrying. I want to be sure I'm protected by the time I see him, and I know with some you have to start after your period. Low hormones is perferred. Any recommendations (besides condoms)?

A lady in Petsmart was trying to sell me a vet package that included neutering but it is super expensive. She told me that getting them neutered by the city (super cheap) is really dangerous because they don't do blood work (she said she had a couple kittens die from it). I don't want to spend a ton on a year long plan though, but I love my kitties! Is it safe?

Hi everyone, I adopted an adorable 7 month old German Shepard- sheltie mix and we found out she was born without her kidneys fully formed. Due to this she has less than 50% kidney function and has issues with urinary incontinence (she leaks when she is relaxed). She CAN urinate normally outside and pees when we let her out and everything but when she does leak she has no idea what happened. This results in waking up in a pool of pee every other night, leaking while laying on my lap and the floor, etc...

Her vet prescribed her some Phenylpropanolamine to help with the peeing and I was wondering if this would hurt her kidneys even more? I trust the vet's opinion but I was looking for a second opinion on the matter.

I picked a bottle off of my boyfriends floor and discovered tiny little whitish bugs crawling on them. We dont have a magnifying glass so i cant really tell you what they look like except they are maybe a little round? The bottle was old and did have dust on it...

Could they be dust mites or grain mites?

Also, we are adopting a dog on Monday, would these be any harm to our new puppy? ):

hello, I am in a Spanish class and we have to do a project on music where we make a game. i have:

1/2 can of cherry pie filling

frozen pie crust(regular not graham)

brownie mix

dark chacolate fudge cake mix

1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 bag milk-chocolate chocolate chips

those are pretty much all the ingredients i have that would be the main part of the pie

so i need a recipe with some of those ingredients and just the regular ingredients that most people have.

p.s. i dont have whipping cream or any fruit(many recipes ask for that kind of thing)

it is a medium sized bump right below the skinny part of the heel.its not on the bottom of the foot so I'm pretty sure it isnt a heal spur...
