Regarding clothing, what exactly are "winter whites", and when is it appropriate to wear brilliant whites? Also, does that season differ in the South, especially Northern Florida?

When I make tomatoe sauce, like for lasagna, I use canned diced tomatoes and they are sort of tart when you bite into them in the food.

I've tried adding a bit of sugar, like a tsp per fat can and they still are bitter. I've cooked them for 24 hours but still bitter.

Anyone have a reliable proceedure for sweetening their diced tomatoes?

Does the ATP produced in the mitochondrion leave the mitochondrion and become available to the rest of the cell? I suspect it does, so what in the process that allows the ATP out of the mitochondrion?

And for that matter, can ATP leave the cell and travel elsewhere or is it confined to the cell it was created in?

I seem to remember an older series (I believe on HBO), well before Curb Your Enthusium, done in the mid-late 90's, where Cheryl Hines played the elitist suburban housewife of maybe a dentist or doctor with two or three kids. I'm pretty sure it was Cheryl Hines but it isn't listed on her IDB and Y Movies credits. Was it her or someone else?

I watch that show, Psychic Detectives on cable and they always end the show asking for help "if anyone knows anything...".

Also during the show they might as well just tell the so-called psychic the answers because they use so much body language and nonverbal cues even with the producers screening them out.

Psychics couldn't help that Alabama girl missing in Aruba or that Jon Bennet little girl. They never do anything really useful. And the few that they've shown psychics solving the police already had the clues anyway.

I think the only way a psychic could actually solve a crime is to read about it in the paper, lol.

I can't recall the name of either the movie or the actors but a medical college professor woman doctor had lupus and confided it to one of her students. The movie follows some students through anatomy class.

Of course one can be sainted by the Catholic Church but Ibelieev that there are other churches that saint also. I know the Mormons do for instance and I think Unitarians and others do also.

Ghandi is probagbly the most unique persojn since Francis (of Assissi). OK, John Paul was good but even he didn't exude Ghandi;s spiritually.

What is the chemical composition of cotton? I'm pretty sure that it is not a single polymer like syn fabrics, but is probably a mix of what? hydrocarbons? Amines? Is it made of proteins and if so which? Any reference or discussion would help also (nothing about chem on Wicki).

How exactly are you supposed to use bleach when you wash your whites?

Do you put the bleach in the washer with the detergent? When I do that my liquid detergent turnes from blue color to a light orange. Does this affect the CLEANING ability of the detergent?

Should the water be hot or can you bleach with warm or even room temp water?

A lot of stains don't come out for me unless I hit them individually with a bleaching pen. Is that normal?

If I had a sport jacket that was, say, 46L but I needed a 46R, is it possible for a tailor to adjust the hem of the jacket, at resasonable cost (say under $35)?

I know they can adjust the sleeve but what about the hem? A Long is about an inch or an inch and a half too long.

My microwave has been changing power levels over the last few months. About a year ago the power seems to have risen, so things were getting cooked faster and for the last ten months I've been using reduced cook times.

Recently the output power seekms to have dropped again and its requiring significantly longer cook times.

So my Q is: Do magnetrons really vary that much in output power over their lifetimes?

Of course it may be nearing the end of its life but its still cooking fine at the reduced powr. Or perhaps instead I'm occasionally knocking off a piece of oxidadtion from the cathode with a unintended bang that's changing the power levels?

This not the first time I remember it doing that, long term power cycling.

If magnetrons do normally shift power levels then why don't they cost effectively AGC the magnetron output in the first place? There already are the sensors in the cavity.

I'm a bit over 40 and I like women in the thirties and forties; if they've taken decent care of themselves then they look just great at those ages.

Personally, I'ld like to father and raise another kid or two. What I need, ahem, is a woman capable of the task, so to speak, as well as willing and interested.

I would just like to come out and ask woman I meet in this age group if they still fertile but I really do not want to slight or offend anyone with such a personal question at a first meeting.

I have several Waterford crystal glasses, bought new, and the glasses each come with a very attractive metalic Waterford sticker attached, usually near the bottom of the glass. The stickers add a certain "collectors" value that would normally add to their resale value. They are not located anywhere where they would interfer with using the glasses. Remove or leave them before serving?
