Why shouldn't Carter be held accountable for his attempts to undermine the stability of the US be seen as an act of a traitor? Look at his comments on Al-Jazerrah and at his anti-american rhetoric. Mind you, he is allowed to have his opinions, but to act against the country in a time of war is treason

I mean that under the "patriot act" we have lost more personal constitutional freedoms than at any time in the history of the US, We now have a bigger government than ever and we have less spending money than ever. We have a president who thinks evolution is not proven and has a secret war plan that he hasn't shared with his own congress as of yet! The worst part is that they lost an election to a party with no issues except complaints and no solutions. How did we come to this sad state? the Republicans were the party of Abe Lincoln, Now they are the party of Bush/Cheney and rice-a-rooni.

I mean that there have been some great democratic statesmen and a lot of reasonable leaders in the past, but now the party seems to be full of rabid whining bed-wetting socialists who are angry because they lost to an idiot like george bush twice. Isn't there anyone left in the party with any interest in saving their country?

Why haven't the powers that be mentioned that the kid was a Muslim refugee from Bosnia? Why didn't they mention that the kid lived near a Mosque and attended faithfully? Why didn't they mention that the guy who shot up the Jewish women's center last summer was a peace-loving Muslim, Or the guy who drove his car into a crowded area in NC last year was a devout Muslim doing it all for Allah?

Why is the media afraid to mention these facts in their reports. On this day of Love, Why is it all that is reported is 'hate America talk' and dead hooker-like blondes?

An example, I asked about global warming and was told that I didn't understand science and was an idiot because I did not think we should agree to Kyoto treaty based on a hypothesis. I have 4 college degrees and 3 are in hard sciences(medicine, biology and chemistry) and 1 in archaeology( overall GPA 3.8). Nevertheless some liberal folks said I was stupid, failed to grasp the theory, and that I was clearly uneducated. The next day I asked about Iraq and the conservatives called me unamerican and a coward. I answered a question about evolution and the christians called me a liar and I answered a question about the mideast and the muslims went nuts and threatened to kill my firstborn male child. Why so intolerant and serious all the time? I deal with people's lives everyday and I use Y/A to relax, not to be insulted. Open to all

who is representing one of the marines at Camp Pendleton. He went on a fact finding mission to Iraq (something the prosecution is afraid to do) and he reported to me that the situation there has deteriorated so badly in the past 2 years since he was last there that he was under fire from the minute he arrived in Baghdad. He traveled to Mosul, Tikrit, Fallujah and met with the locals and took depositions and he returned to the US. He reports that our troops are under constant fire and that although they are highly trained professionals and good marines, they are scared to death and want to come home. He said that this is a civil war now and the US has 2 options, Kill everyone you see or get the hell out now! While I favor the kill them all solution personally, I think that it is time to get out as apparently Saddam was correct that the US doesn't have the will to fight the 'mother of all wars'. If Bush spent 15 minutes with this guy, the troops would be home in a week. What do you think

Who is going to pay for this grand government health care scheme, and why would anyone in their right mind want the United States Government to fix anything? After they have been taking Social Security from you (under penalty of law) since the 1940's and now they say they can't afford to even keep that going enough to pay out the citizens after another 10-20 years? You can open an IRA and do better than that!

Who gets to pay for all of this and how will that be accomplished?

Our health care costs are already too high because we (the American's) pay higher drug prices for the free medicines that are given out in other countries!

If so, Why? and if not Why Not? I support it but I wonder if I am the only one. Wouldn't it be nice if politicians would quit having taxes as a weapon against Americans?
