What is it for? I know my phone isn't sad. I really think it gets the proper amount of attention. LOL. It's a basic sanyo model from sprint.

My kids found a nothern brown snake outside our house this morning near the hose bib. They want to keep it, and after some initial research it seems harmless. How are they to care for, & are there any concerns I should have considering we've taken this one from the wild.

I'm wondering if I can't just pick up a few books from the library and teach myself. I already have a programmer in my family who I can ask questions of. Most of what many do in the field is learned at work not in the classroom. Can I apprentice in this area?

I'll give you a hint on how recent they were. And for those who denounce God you'll be pleased to note these were/are the times when the world is the furthest it has ever been from faith in Ywh.

Anyone know how many of these wars were fought for religious reasons?

It seems as though more and more of our personal lives must be reported to the government. Every new law has potential eyes peering into our homes. For instance MI who up until now has not required any notification that a family is hoomeschooling currently has a bill in the wings to do just that. What purpose does this serve? Why do they want to know I'm homeschooling? I am one who believes in accountability to government only in the case of a crime, not in the case of going about living everyday life. What happened to our liberty? Someone said this is for the protection of children. Who is the government protecting them from? Parents? Why not pick up all the kids in paddy wagons and woosh them off to state run boarding schools like China? This is a strong bit of speak, but look at how a hard some celebrities have to work to keep their lives private. You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone.

Twyla seemed to have a normal appetite before going in for surgery, but I noticed she seemed to look thinner. The first day she was home she drank a ton of water, and appeared to eat some of her food, but then for the last 3 days has appeared to have eaten very little. I know she has lost weight. Tonight I gave her a bit of Tuna, to see if i could jump start her appetite, and she did eat it, but when I put the juice from the tuna on her regular food to soften it, she licked teh juice off and walked away. I'm wondering if we should take her back to the vets. Whatcha think? I can't give her Tuna all the time.

For instance MI had a drought last summer, but it's already had more snow fall than they should have by this time of year. someone told me global warming is a misnomer, what it really means is hotter when it's hot, and colder when it's cold. Is there any truth to this.

My son is just learning the order of operations. PEMDAS.

We learned that 14-4+2=12, but that 14-(4+2)=8. At first he said that's stupid. To which I laugh having a small love of math I said that's the beauty inherent within it. But then he ask me why it happens that way when all the numbers are the same. Not having my teachers manual handy I couldn't remember why this happens. What is this principle called?

For the purposes of fiction within the reaalm of string theories' d-branes. Can the same planet exist on 2 planes (not being 2 dimensional), but rather in 2 separate dimensions? Assuming they do exist does destroying one via an antimatter storm also destroy the other? Would the d-branes also be destroyed? I know this is confusing. let me know if I need to explain what i mean further.

My daughter is 7, very sweet, extremely cute. She loves playing with everyone and knows few enemies. But for the past few years she always seems to get caught up by boys her own age touching her inappropriately (ie butt slapping or kissing). I remind her of our family values, and of how great her worth is. I know the world around me might think I'm making too much of this, but if she has so little respect for herself now, what can the future hold? When I catch the boys I give them the stern hands off speech. How can I foster an attitude of "this is my personal space, and don't cross it in her mind." How can I get her to assert her boundaries.

2. Our family has fiscally and physically combined households with my SW/MIL. Who has helped tremendously with money, household duties, and childcare.

3. Transfer option available for husband. She can come with, but I'm saying she can't live with anymore.

4. Husband thinks I'm stepping on her generosity with selfishness.

5. I think I like having my own space, my own rules, and my own control over my own enviroment.

6. She's not controling, in general genial, and the kids love having her around, but she wants to buy.

7. I want her to go, but I want her to live seperately so her smoking and cooking do not adversely affect our health.

9. I liked it better when we lived close by, but in two separate places.
