In March I was notified that because I took unpaid time off I would not have a position in September; I was to work till the end of the school year, June 18th. I spoke with an employment lawter at that time because I has intermittent. FMLA. He then informed me that I was being layed off. Just wanting to make sure.

My son receives SSI and got the 250 check in 2009. I've done several tax return calculators and it deducts the $250.00. My question is do I have to claim this being as though it was for him but I am his representative?

I know SSI isn't subjected to federal taxes.

Who else here is tired of people asking racist questions and then claiming " I'm not racist"?

Do people not understand that when you make a negative generalization about another race that it comes off as racist? Do people not understand that there is a way to ask a question WITHOUT coming off as offensive?

Just because you talk to someone of a different color doesn't mean that you are not racist. When you generalize another race and then act according to that generalization, you're be ignorant & racist.

Being and though we never completely understand other religions I would like for everyone to share something about their religion that others don't know, don't understand don't comprehend.

This is for everyone, even atheists. Maybe give your reason for being what you are or what ever. But we need to learn how to overcome our own ignorance and to get knowledge.

Why is it that people always want to knock other people down on here? Everyone knows someone that will "kick someone's ***". People ask questions on their computer that they would never get the heart to ask a person in their face. Grow up! Kids on here act so stupid and I would really like to know why. That way I know how NOT to raise my children. Not that I don't know but apparently some of yall parents think they are doing a great job. Some of you are the future junkies of the world.
