  • Women's Shoes/Flip-flops?

    This is a serious question.

I have always wondered why women wear open shoes, sandals and flip-flops even when it is freezing, snowing or otherwise completely impractical, and still complain that it's cold. For example, I was at the Denver, Colorado airport last week, it was 33 degrees outside and I was amazed at the number of women that were wearing sandals or flip-flops. Just out of bored curiosity I started looking for Men wearing the same, roughly 1 for every 30 or so women.

    I'm baffled....

  • Why do Christians think they have the monopoly on "The Holidays"?

Christian groups seem to take offense with the concept of the "Holiday Season" and the expression "Happy Holidays". The vast majority of religions have some form of celebration around the winter solstice, but Christians seem to think that anything other than "Merry Christmas" is offensive.

Personally I find this attitude offensive.

  • Which Prayer in School?

Why is it that only Christian prayers should be allowed in school. What do you think of a prayer from a different religion being used each day? Why shouldn't some Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Shinto, Buddhist, etc prayers out there too?
