  • Is it okay that i laughed, or does that make me a sicko?

I just have to share with someone what my son said. He's 5.

I was taking a shower, when my son walked in the bathroom and opened the shower door and asked "Daddy, can I take a bath?". I said "Sure, just give me a couple of minutes".

Then he says, in this amazed sounding inflection, "Wow!!! You have the BIGGEST PENIS IN THE WHOOOOLE WORLD!!!"

I just started laughing my a$$ off, and couldnt resist replying "Yes, yes I do." I have to say that was one of the coolest things thats ever been said, even though it came from a 5 year old.

  • Do you know what the first catergory in my yellow pages is?

I accidentally noticed this. Its Abortion Alternatives. There is a bunch of listings under it. Its really funny if you can avoid getting offended, funny in both directions. What I think is funny is that Obviously the catergory was started by groups wantingn to sway away from abortion, but the catergory has mostly listings of abortion providers. Most with misleading names and ads. One called "pregnancy testing center" Then i was thinking that 'birthright' is actually a bad name for this type of clinic, because those two words imply a right to be born. Another one that is more honest is BirthLine. Kinda messed up when you think about it, being the cutoff point where it is illegal. Birthrights listing says "Problem Pregnancy? Free pregnancy tests!". WTF? ITs amazing, there are all these listings in Abortion Alternatives, but the very next catergory is "Abortion Providers". There is only one listing. All this new catergory started by churches did was add an earlier catergory.

  • Why are the diapers she wore what everyone is shocked at?

I see everyone talking about the arrested astronaut, with the centerpeice being her wearing diapers. Thats not much of a stretch, kinda an obvious method considering she's an astronaut. When i first read about this, what stood out to me was the "steel mallet, 4 inch knife, trash bags and RUBBER TUBING" Does no one realize what the RUBBER TUBING was for? It would enable her to cut off a persons limbs, yet keeping them alive by preventing death and/or unconsciousness from blood loss. That way she could keep her alive longer, submitting her to the torture of having more body parts cut off while being aware of it, and extracting all the possible info she wanted by promising a quick death. IM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE DARN DIAPERS is all im saying.

  • Anyone else ever read "bridge to terabithia"?

I read it in school, and i saw a advertisement for the movie, and it looks like it is completely different from the book. When will Walt Disney stop raping classics. Like "disney's Doug". Whats up with that? Just because they bought it, doesnt mean they should call it theirs.

  • Where do you find Black Diamonds?

I cant seem to find black diamonds at any stores(at least black diamonds that arent on jewelry with regular diamonds) it is said that black diamonds are less desired because of the color and all, but since scientists now say they came from meteorites and ultimately were made in supernovas, i now want one.

  • Why have terms constantly been redefined over the last5 years? Anyone else got a problem with this?

Stating the obvious, geneva conventions, patriotism, marriage. But here is one I just dont get-

"Shareef planned to set off four hand grenades in garbage cans at the CherryVale shopping mall........................He was charged with one count of attempting to damage or destroy a building by fire or explosion and one count of attempting to use a WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION." Now im not saying this was a good guy, but weapons of mass destruction? Grenades?

Tell me again, were any WMD's found in IRAQ? No. But there were plenty of hand grenades im sure. What gives? Is it okay to constantly redefine things at our discretion because its conveniently in our agenda?

  • Are there really people who think vampires are more likely than aliens?

My mother in law doesnt think there is any possibility that there could be life on other planets, yet thinks that vampires, actual vampires, really exist. What are your thoughts on this?

  • Is this how this trickle down economics works? Or is it really flood up?

Millionaires are so last millennium. The new Forbes 400 list of richest Americans is billionaires only.

If you're net worth is a mere $999 million, forget it. A billion means a thousand million, and that's the Forbes 400 minimum -- up from $900 million in 2005.

Donald Trump and two of his kids grace the Forbes 400 cover, but ranked No. 94 with $2.9 billion, Trump's a long way from No. 1 Bill Gates with $53 billion.

The combined wealth of the 400 richest Americans is a record-breaking $1.25 trillion. That's about the same amount of combined wealth held by the 57 million households who make up half the U.S. population.

The economy is booming for billionaires. It's a bust for many other Americans.

A record 400 Americans are billionaires -- and a record 47 million Americans have no health insurance.

America has 400 billionaires -- and 37 million people below the official poverty line.

The official poverty line for one person was just $9,973 in 2005 (latest data). That wouldn't cover the custom-made men's shoes ($4,128) and Hermes purse ($6,250) on the Forbes Cost of Living Extremely Well Index. The official poverty line of $15,577 for a three-person family is lower than the cost of the Patek Philippe men's gold watch ($17,600).

The Forbes 400 minimum is up $100 million since 2005, but the federal minimum wage has been stuck at $5.15 an hour -- just $10,712 a year -- since 1997. GOP leaders in Congress have been holding a raise for minimum wage workers hostage to more giant tax cuts for wealthy inheritors.

Wealth isn't trickling down. It's flooding up -- from workers to bosses, small investors to big, poorer to richer.

The heirs to Wal-Mart founders Sam and Bud Walton have a combined $82.5 billion -- while the children of Wal-Mart workers swell the ranks of state health insurance programs for the neediest.

In today's corporate America, workers see gutted paychecks and pensions despite rising worker productivity, while CEOs get golden pay, perks, pensions and parachutes. The pay gap between average workers and CEOs has grown nine times wider since the 1970s.

The number of billionaires is a record high, but the share of national income going to wages and salaries is at a record low.

U.S. corporate profits increased 21 percent in the past year, Market Watch reported in March. "Profits have been so high because almost all of the benefits from productivity improvements are flowing to the owners of capital rather than to the workers," said Market Watch.

The wealthiest 1 percent of Americans (minimum net worth $6 million) owned 62 percent of the nation's business assets, 51 percent of stocks and 70 percent of bonds as of 2004, according to the latest data from the Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances -- which excludes the Forbes 400. That's way up from 1989, when the wealthiest 1 percent owned 54 percent of business assets, 41 percent of stocks and 52 percent of bonds.

Our growing economy is not producing a growing middle class, but a richer aristocracy.

The high point for median household income -- the income of the household in the middle -- was $47,671 in 1999, adjusted for inflation. In 2005, median household income was $1,345 less at $46,326. In the same period, the Forbes 400 gained more than 100 billionaires.

Government policies are fueling rising inequality. Taxpayers with incomes above $1 million will see their after-tax income grow by about 6 percent this year thanks to tax cuts the nation can't afford.

In an economy where money is flowing up to the very top, even college-educated workers are going backward. Inflation-adjusted median household income was lower in 2005 than 1999 even when the householder had a bachelor's degree, master's degree, professional degree or doctorate.

The problem is much bigger than the rich getting richer, while the poor get poorer. The really rich are getting richer at the expense of most everyone else.

Solutions include restoring the link between rising worker productivity and pay, raising the miserly minimum wage, narrowing the obscene pay gap between workers and CEOs, rolling back tax cuts for the wealthy -- and stop taxing income from work more than income from capital gains.

  • Do you think there is such a thing as 'too many coincidences"?

If so, then i would like to address something. And that something is that some people say that there is no proof of any kind of god. I believe that the concept of god does not mean that evolution did'nt happen or vice-versa.

Example: The Solar eclipse. How many places in our solar system could you see total solar eclipse? One. Our planet is the only place in the SS where our moon is just the right distance from us to cover all but the suns coronae. If you were on saturn, there is a moon that is the right distance, but it is oblong shaped, so it wouldnt work. What are the chances that this is the place where life sprang up, not only life, but life intellegent enough to really consciously observe and appreciate that eclipse?Coincidence? How about dark energy? What is it? We dont understand what it is or how it is controlling the universe, but we do know that it is more powerful than all the other forces put together, i.e. a higher power.Coincidence?

  • If the universe is expanding at an ever-increasing pace, and according to relativity?

If the universe is expanding at an ever-increasing pace, and according to Einsteins theory of relativity traveling faster than the speed of light would cause moving backward in time (BTW i dont fully believe that part of relativity), then do you think that eventually the universe could accellerate to and beyond the speed of light, causing the universe to just keep bouncing back and forth in time, neverending?

  • Have you ever had a recurring dream of being in a fight and your punches don't do anything?

It is a dream that pops up from time to time with me. I practice my punching all the time and am quite good and efficient at it, but i guess the dream shows an underlying fear of being unable to protect myself.
