  • Who installs liner for wood cooktop hood?

New construction using Dura Supreme cabinets. The matching wood cooktop hood is installed but the liner and blower are still in their boxes.

Seems plumber doesn't think it is his job to install. I'm thinking liner should have been put in hood before it was mounted on the wall?

Cabinet supplier is no help either. Any suggestions /advice?

  • Equine FURminator - Anyone using it?

I picked up an equine FURminator this weekend after seeing it on sale for $30 at our local farm store. I knew I had seen them for around $50 when they first came out and wasn't about to pay THAT much for one. But, since I needed a new shedding tool this spring, I decided to give it a try.

I checked out their website and don't see the equine version there. Just the dog and cat sizes. Got me to wondering if they discontinued the equine version.

It seems to be working pretty well. The horses seem to enjoy it. My usually sensitive, thin skinned gelding doesn't even complain as he seems to do with anything else that I groom him with. Go figure! LOL

So, just curious if anyone out there is using it and what your opinions are. I know that we all have our own unique situations, likes and dislikes. Shedding time is always such a mess. For me, this tool seems to be making it a little easier this year.

    Happy spring! :)
