I was left with four children 25 years ago. I worked for ten years at a food distributorship and for 10 years in a clerical position in a hospital. A year ago my husband and I moved to Denver. I had a job for 6 months and then was laid off. That was 6 months ago. All I want is a job with health insurance and that pays at least $14.00 an hour or more. I have skills, I was a good employee in the past. WHY won t anyone hire me? Am I now unemployable. I have a resume, I have a knock out cover letter. What is going on, soon I ll be losing my house and since my savings is now wiped out, I can t buy insulin which is around $300.00 a month.

My son was making good tips on Capitol Hill, now he's working in Queen Anne and making hardly anything. He works for a small restaurant so he is NOT getting $15 an hour. Queen Anne is a higher income area, yet the tips are non existent. He and his fellow employees are good people, lines are outside the door during the entire lunch hour, yet these wealthier people do not tip. What the heck is wrong with you? Why are you people living in the area so selfish and stingy?

I take 17 units of Lantus every morning and 3 to four units of Humalog with meals. My problem is I can't work out at the gym as long as I would like to because I always start to go too low. But if I eat something with lots of carbs, when I work out, I'm just burning off the calories of what I just ate. Any suggestions? I also take Janumet twice a day. My A1c was 5.6 because I'm a very tight controller. I would like to lose 10 pounds and just be more fit and healthy.

If she can't speak to give permission how can they go on TV and talk all about her medical condition? I do scheduling for a hospital's radiology department and I have to be so careful in what I say and how I handle phone calls it sometimes gets in the way of doing my job. But these guys are telling the whole world every thing about her medical condition. Why aren't they breaking HIPPA laws?

It's no more the history channel, it's the mindless, shallow channel. I guess my real question is this: How many people are sick of what they've done to the concept of The History Channel, the Food Network, the Travel channel. What the heck does "Toddlers in Tiaras" have to do with a "Learning" channel. Who else is disgusted with this dribble?

My first attempt at gardening. I have all kinds of veggies coming up, including summer squash and zucchini, but my pumpkins aren't happening. They are planted in a mound, great vines, great blooms, but no pumpkins. The blooms last awhile then dry up and fall off. We got the seeds from a halloween jack o lantern bought at a grocery store. I asked this question before, but got no email response, I may not have marked notification of answers to my email. I can't find it so forgive me if you have all answered before.

I have summer squash and zucchini, my pumpkins have beautiful blooms day in and day out, but then the flowers die and fall off. I'ts my first attempt at gardening so I'm working in the dark here. We got the seeds from a pumpkin we used for halloween. Since it was a commercially grown pumpkin, could they be sterile?

I am not elderly, (48 yrs old) and my broken hip is not due to osteoporosis or any other health problems, just a body slam onto a big hunk of ice in the street. But now I'm home, using a walker and I really can't stand for long periods of time. I haven't washed my hair in a week and my husband and I are still trying to figure out. I cant get in my clawfoot bathtub, I'm just taking sponge baths in my downstaris half bath. I am miserable, but if I could just get my scalp to stop itching, that's one little thing to make me a little more comfortable.

I have 2 boneless pork chops thawed out at home. What can I do with them without alot of ingredients in no more than an hour?

Can't we all agree that pre existing condition rule should be eliminated? It's so wrong, how can anyone want this to continue?

I have one of those little crock pots and I would love to try to overnight oatmeal. But all of the recipes I find are for large quantities in a bigger crockpot. I only need enough for my husband and me.

I walk on the treadmill, do a variety of weigh machines, then I go on the elliptical machine for about 10 to 15 minutes (I must admit I don't really push it real hard on that) and the I swim for 20 minutes. My sugars go up and down and I would like to steady them out while I work out. What would be the perfect snack with some carbs, protein and few calories?
