recently a friend of mine purchased a house, this house was sold to them as nothing being wrong in their disclosure papers, once my friend finally got to move in, about 3-4 weeks they started hearing gurgling sounds from the plumbing, so called a plumber and he installed a breather , and a johnny ring, this was not the problem, my friend was in the shower and noticed the water wasnt draining from the tub, so they called the plumber again, which said they needed to snake it, which that plumbers snake was broke so they had to call another plumber, which did figure out that the plumbing inside the house wasnt the problem, the problem was outside in the yard, once he snaked it out and it broke his snake , so my friends contact the people thye bought it from and found out that he his self was the one that put all the new plumbing in, so he dug up the back yard to find that his plumbing that he laid was intact, but the clay tiles he connected to was clogged so tight they were in peices , mind you from the beginning there was a huge hole in the back yard before my friend purchased the place that they had alot of concerns about, when questioning the realitor my friend was told "No Problem at all it was taken care of". Which the same day the guy filled the hole back in. once this guy realized when he connected to what he thought was the main wasnt the main after all, he hooked up to something nobody knows where it was going , were guessing maybe in a storm drain or in the ground? the man which sold the house to my friend said he will take care of it, but its been almost 7 months and theres still a hole in thier yard , my friend tries to call him to find out when hes going to fix this, to get the run around constantly, its always ill be there in a couple days, its been 7 months. My friends called thier realitor which in turn called his realitor only to be told, dont push this man to do something, he will do it when he wants to do, The man even told my friend that they have to pay for the materials to have this fixed, which shouldnt of been a problem from the start (my opinion) it was disclosed as new plumbing nothing wrong. My friends realitor has contacted his realitor several times on this, its always something new and its always the run around, seems like they are trying to stall them. I have been trying to help find sources to help my friends, they are good people and this is there first house, what rights do they have,?

A single mother of 2 Lil boys is very sick she has battled a tumor on the side of her face since childhood, she has been thru everything to get rid of it only to be told here recently that theres nothing that they can do for her,it has grown roots and it wrapped around nerves, heart,brain, lungs ect....they gave her up to 2 years to live, Just Friday she was told she also has cancer over top of that, and I'm praying for her every day, shes only 30 yrs old. She doesnt ask for anything from anyone, she works 2 jobs and takes care of her children on her own, I just ask kindly from the bottom of your hearts to maybe say a prayer for her to at least be here for christmas this year for her boys, thank you so much .

I am a 38 year old mother of 3 children ages 21,18,17 the youngest turning 18 in april, I have lots of experience with all ages of children, I am recently baby sitting for a 5 month old and a 2 yr old both being in diapers, the original agreement was from 9:30am to no later than 5:00pm Tues-Friday. In the begining she was here at 9:30am and a few times has been late to pick them up like 6:00pm. now she doesnt get here till 11:00-11:00am,and gets later everyday. She has calculated my pay some how to be 3.83 per hr for both kids, I just today gave her a written 2 week notice to either pay me $5.00 per hr or I cant babysit for her anymore. The going rate in my area is $12.50 per hr for the 2 kids. I think im being very fair about it , she seems to think thats way to much money, i was just wondering what you think about it.? Fair or Not?

recently I started babysitting for 2 kids a 4 1/2 month old and a 2 yr old. in the beginning I felt sorry for the mother that claimed that she was on salary and for no reason her boss took it away and put her back on hrly. she didnt know what to do and cant really afford to pay alot for babysitting, I told her that i would charge her $2.00 per hr per kid, which is still cheap. the first day that i had them she picked them up and said that she calculated it to be $3.83 per hr . since I have been babysitting for a month now she brings the kids later and later because she cant get up to go to work on time, so there fore i make next to nothing,.I also found out that she pays her other babysitters exactly what she pays them at work , shes a dairy queen mananger, so when she doesnt havea babyitter she gets one of her employees to do it and pays them what they make at the dq...was just wondering what some of you would do if this was your situation?

reason for asking is because a manager thinks that if all employees not making minimum wage recieve a raise that all managment should get one also , like one person makes 6.75 and they get a 10 cent raise to meet mw.and a manager makes 7.00 why should they recieve a raise also?

My daughter went to the emergency room and shes 10 weeks preg. the done a ultra sound and monitored the baby heartbeats at 169 which is normal...and the baby was moveing its lil arms and legs, the ultra sound tech said the baby looks fine, then the er dr comes in and tells her that her placenta is bleeding and either she will heal on her own or she will miscarry her baby, (I thought how unprofessional to tell someone that in that manor) but my daughter only cramps while standing up, im very worried and dont know what to beleive the er dr or the us???? she goes to the ob dr wed but wed seems like forever away....?

I was sick with a sinus infection and fever , and ear infection, now im over it all but my ear feels like ive been thru the mountains and its clogged ,its very aggravateing. how do i get it to go away?

I found a snake in my flower bed it was a really light green real long and skinny, I dont think it looks like a gardener snake, I did do a research on snakes and found no snake that looks like this one, any sugestions?

They have been told several times about the constant barking, Im afraid the other neighbors will think its my dog and its not! we have 1 dog and he has a runner kennel, she ties her dogs up to trees, and scoops up the fecies and throws it over the cliff that runs behind our house, i feel like this is not sanitary at all . I have spoken to the landlord but it seems like nothings getting done. any suggestions?

my 21 yr old daughter, is tangled up with a total loser, he smacks around on her and is into heavy drugs,and drinks every day.. now my daughter is pregnant by him and he's punched her in the stomach hes throwed her down, we done the right thing,letting authorities handle it, she now lives at home and he continues to harrass her, im afraid he will talk her into going back to him and the baby wont ever have a chance, with all the drugs that he's on makes that babies chances very slim of being completely heathy.searching for some advice from one parent to another?
