  • of these 3 pick you favorite?

The hubby and i have our boys name set, but i'm still iffy on our girls name. we did narrow it down to 3 choices.

    1- Selene Aziza

    2- Aziza Lynnette

    3- Alivia Lynnette

the hubby originally wanted Salem, but I didn't like it well enough and it didn't seem to go with anything else we liked, so we compromised with Selene. but the more i think about it, the more i like Alivia.

so out of the 3, what ones would you pick? please don't throw in new suggestions, it's only going to make this harder!

  • what do you think.....should i re-test?

the hubs and i have been trying for a baby for about 4 months. Well, since the 22nd, my nipples have been extremely sore (even with a bra on), i've had a huge increase in appetite along with a bit of nausea and slight cramping. i took a test this morning, the 27th (one marked for being able to test before your period is late), and it came back negative.

my period isn't due till Oct 2nd, is it worth re-testing? or should i chalk this month up as a loss?

  • how to preserve a tattoo?

I have a memorial tattoo (just under a half sleeve) that was done about 3 years ago. it still looks good, but it's getting a little blurry and will need a touch up in prolly a year or so. unfortunately the artist that originally did it died, and with it being an elaborate and meaningful piece, i don't trust another artist to work on the piece.

so, what's the best way to keep this from fading? i already use sunscreen before i go out, but is there more that i can do to preserve this?

  • period like cramps, but after period has come and gone?

i'm on the patch for birth control, which is the only form of BC i use with my husband. i put on my second patch on 12-18 (friday). now i'm having period like cramps (actually they're a little more intense than my period cramps, but in the same area) without the period which stopped around monday. me and the hubby had sex a few times this week, including today.

any ideas on what's going on? i do plan on taking a pregnancy test; when would be the best time to take one (ASAP, or should i wait a few days)? should i go to the doctor?

  • why is my rat's tail turning pink?

My rat's tail started out dark brown with a white tip, but now it's slowly turning flesh pink. Should i be concerned? i use carefresh bedding, and the same food that the pet store fed him (it's a really good variety of stuff including dried fruit, nuts, and the rat pellets).

  • where to find the nine west jellzey heel?

ok, getting married in august and need to find the right shoe. i'm wearing red, and the wedding colors are red, black or silver.

i found the nine west jellzey heel at macy's in black satin with gunmetal trim and feel in love. however, it was the wrong size and on clearance (they said there were pretty much no options for me). i did find them at dsw online, but totally wrong color (navy)

so i turn to the internet....can someone find me this color combo in a 7.5? or can you find the silver in that size? could the navy ones be dyed black?

OR can someone find a knockoff/something very similar?

  • feathering tattoo outline?

so i have a smallish tattoo on my upper arm, and it's about 4 years old. it's a moon with 3 stars; thick black outline around the moon and each star with color fill. i noticed to day that the outline isn't crisp anymore, and in some spots it looks like the ink has migrated/feathered (picture drawing with watercolor pencils and getting the edge just a little wet). there's no skin irritation, but should i be worried?

    (sorry i can't post a pic, digital camera is broke ): )

  • is this odd rat behavior?

i recently got a pet rat (it will be a week on Sat.) and he is always climbing on the sides of his cage. it's well sealed/put together so i'm not worried about him getting out, but i'm wondering why is he doing this? he has other stuff to climb on and a wheel.

is he missing his old cagemate (he's now by himself and hasn't quite bonded to me and the hubby yet)? or is he just that bored and need more toys?

  • how many cupcakes fit on a cupcake tower?

I'm going to be making cupcake towers for my wedding, but i'd like to know about how many stands i'm going to need? I'm using 14", 10", and 8" cake boards, and i'll have about 200 cupcakes altogether.

I was thinking 2 or 3. what would you go with?

  • machines like the yudu screen printer?

i like the idea of the yudu machine, but not the price tag. i really want to screen print my own fabric before i make a garment, or even existing garments. are there any machine out there like the yudu, but not $300 like the yudu? or is there an EASY way to get professional results without the machine?

    thanks in advance!

  • Does Dell have a Replacement Policy?

I have a dell inspiron 9300, and i've already had the motherboard replaced 4 times (only once because it was fried, once because the USB ports didn't work, and twice because the mic/headphone jacks didn't work.) Now the mic/headphone jacks are on the fritz (again!), and at this point i would rather start over with a new system (with the same spec's of course). I know that HP has a policy that lets you get a new computer if you've had the same tech support problem 3 times (paraphrased), does Dell have a similar policy? or am i stuck replacing the same part until my warranty runs out?

  • how long is hamster food good?

i bought some hamster food in September, but unfortunately the hamster died before she ate all the food. i've kept the food in a sealed plastic bag, room temperature, dark-ish pantry; the food was made up of different grains and seeds. would it still be ok to feed to a hamster? (i want to get the hubby another one for x-mas)

    thanks in advance!

  • What is up with the new Yahoo! Answers?

Uggh! i went to answer a question, and i noticed this little bubble giving me a tip! at first i thought cool, but then it popped up when i made a spelling error (only one, that my firefox already underlined)......ok mildly annoying. then the "hmm you have a lot of punctuation" bubble......gah i don't care!

When did they start doing this?!?! Does anyone know how to turn it off (besides using the x on each bubble)??

  • Stocking seam tattoos?

ok, i'm thinking about getting a stocking seam tattooed down the backs of my legs. the only pictures i've seen online have them stop at the ankle and i think that looks tacky. Can they go all the way down to the heel? Is the heel really painful? Does it take longer to heal (i will have to wear regular shoes for work)?

  • Am i the only woman that doesn't like the idea of breastfeeding?

no, i don't have a baby, nor am i pregnant, but me and my hubby are planning to have children. he is adamant that i breastfeed beacuse of the benefits (immune system and such). however i dont like the idea of breastfeeding; to me its an inconvienence and i'm not comfortable with the idea. does anyone else feel this way, and what would you say to him in this situation?
