  • Help with creating block quotation on Microsoft Word!!?

I've tried selecting the paragraph, right clicking, choosing the paragraph function and entering in the amount of indentation but once I click "Ok" to apply, it indents my entire paper! I have tried this numerous times and made sure my paragraph is highlighted/selected and it still does not work. Can anyone offer me some solutions?

  • Can Rabbits get sick from being wet?

We keep our rabbits outside in a special cage we built for them. We have a mister system hooked up to it for those super hot days of summer. It's been so hot lately like 112 degrees. bleh. But our rabbits have spots where they can stay dry in the cage....or go in their nest boxes. They seem to love the misters though. they sit under them all day and stay cool. i was just wondering if that can make them sick at all? should i do anything different?

    thanks <3

  • help w/ final exam take home essay?

For history we are asked to defend or refute the following statement:

"History proves that dictatorships do not grow out of strong and successful governments, but out of weak and helpless ones. If by democratic methods ppl get a government strong enough to protect them from fear and starvation, their democracy succeeds; but if they do not, they grow impatient. Therefore, the only sure bulwark of continuing liberty is a government strong enough to protect the interests of the ppl, and a ppl strong enough and well enough informed to maintain its sovereign control over it's government"

    -Franklin Delano Roosevelt 1938.

i agree w/ this statement. how might i go about organizing my opinion into paragraphs? help w/ a thesis maybe?

oh and i have to list 3 examples to support my thesis. so should i do three middle paragraphs talking about governments that didn't work from three diff countries...then a intro and conclusion? uggh i hate essays. they can suck my big toe :P

    thanks for any opinions :)

  • Please edit this paragraph!?

In one of my classes we have to write this paper which includes a story of when we had to show integrity/stand up for our values and we had to list the values/principles we believed in. Please edit/make corrections to the paragraph i have written(which is the story when ive had to stand up for what i believe in) i know its kinda cheesy but whatever, its all i got. but PLEASE feel free to make corrections and suggestions! they are greatly appreciated! okay, so heres the story:

I would like to share a story that has recently happened to me, and it involves standing up for my value of chastity, as well as showing integrity. One day, after school, I had to go to the library to find a book for my World Literature class. I was having difficulties finding the book I needed, so I decided to sit down at the computer and look for it. At the time, the only "adult" in the room supervising was the student aide at the main desk. Other than him, there were about four or five other boys at a table sitting next to me. I was having issues with the computer and soon one of the boys came over and sat right next to me, awfully close. I didn't know him, but he asked me if he could talk to me, and trying to be polite, I said yes. He began asking me personal information like; how old I was, if I had a boyfriend, and when my birthday was. I hesitantly answered these questions (which I probably shouldn't have), and soon the intention of this boy becae clear. The questioins started gtting more personal, and uncomfortable and I kept telling him my religious beliefs and telling him that I wasn't going to compensate my values to be his girlfriend and what not. During this whole situation I'm also trying to look up this book which I finally found, and I was writing down the information for it. All of a sudden the uncomfortable feeling in me turns to the worst feeling I think I've ever felt. My stomach just starts to feel really sick, my heart started to race and I started to sweat. It was then that I knew I needed to get out of there. I started to pack up my stuff and get tup out of my chair. When the boy sitting next to me stood up and started asking me things like, "why are you leaving?" and "where are you going?". I ignored these questions and stormed out of the library, without the book, which I had been looking for forever. Even though the circumstance did not get too inapporpriate or indecent, I'm glad I got out of there when I did. Who knows what could have happened if I had not left when I did. This is just an example of one of the times I've had to stand up for my values. But I think this is a good example and it shows that I am dedicated to what I believe in.

Okay, so theres my story. do you think it's well organized? what grammatical errors am i making? I'm TERRIBLE at writing, so i need major help w/ this! thanks!
