I have an HP Netbook. I messed it up and it is in Windows XP Recovery Console. without a cd rom drive how can I fix it?

I wanted to fix it b/c it has not been working properly at all. I chose to do a system restore but accidentally went all the way back to before XP was installed. (I think) Now all that will work is the Windows XP Recovery Console. But I have no CD ROM so I do not know what to do! I cannot restart, it just comes up to this same screen. How can I get Windows XP back on this netbook?

There are 18 of us. Some are kids ranging from 2 to 15. What should we do if grandma wants us all to eat dinner together every night? The fine dining places look awesome but maybe the little kids will not be able to make it? My boys are 12 and 15 and would like the nice restaurant but not sure how to make everyone comfortable..plus grandma is paying so we have to go with her wishes.. Any tips for can't miss places to eat and how we can handle this?

It is 10 years old. I love it! We bought it for allergies and it works amazingly. Supposed to live another 10 years. We paid 800 dollars for it new. I dropped a full fishbowl on it and wrecked the motor. It will be 300 to fix it. Basically wondering if I should pay that to fix it or try to find a good vacuum to replace it? Wouldn't I spend that much anyway and not have as good a vacuum?

Help! Desperately trying to download video news clips about slain officer.?

Our dear family friend was killed recently and the family was too distraught to watch the news. I know the officer's family and others will want news clips esp. since they are full of so many nice things. But WZZM which has all the best clips has some sort of blocker on their clips. RealPlayer and Firefox Download Helper are unable to get it. I tried a store bought one too. How can I download these to my hard drive?

I will do whatever it takes to get these onto my hard drive so I can burn a cd of them before the news channel deletes them.

If all else fails would it work to hook my computer up to my TV, hook up a VCR, record what's on, and then convert it to DVD?

I don't want them to be ABOUT dyslexia, but about cool topics like spiders and outer space, and EASY EASY EASY to read with non-fiction conventions like captions, index, graphs etc. I teach third grade and have a few students every year who really struggle to read anything. They need books that are intellectually interesting but super easy to read. Also historical fiction, realistic fiction and biography. Please don't tell me the obvious ones that I can see on amazon..I have those. I need help finding a resource that sells actual books made FOR kids with LD or dyslexia that are high interest types. Thanks for any help!!

Tried turtle beach and got static, robot sounding voice, and bad audio. Looked at SkullCandy lowrider xbox but people said the plugs don't fit in the controller? Is that true? Will I have the feedback/static/robot sounding voice like I did with Turtle Beach? The Xbox regular ones work fine they just break every month or so.. Need ideas!!
