i downloaded a cd file and it's saved as a .cue and .flac file. the .flac file is basically the whole cd merged into one file. how do i convert the .cue and .flac to separate mp3 files?? thanks.

i have a 3-pronged computer adapter, but when i tried to unplug it yesterday, the third prong came off and is sticking out of the outlet. the adapter still works, but i was wondering after i turn the electricity off, is there an easy and safe way to remove the prong? thanks.

do you need to format a dvd+/-rw disc before using it? i have a dvd+/-rw disc drive, and i've burnt dvd+r discs fine before, but i bought a dvd+rw disc yesterday, but when i put it in my computer drive it says there's no disc inside.

I rented 2 dvds from blockbuster yesterday; BOTH are regular, NON-blu ray dvds.

for some reason 1 doesn't play in my computer, but it works fine on my mom's computer. the other dvd does work in my computer. i've tried restarting my computer, and updating my driver, but it doesn't work. also, the region on my computer is 1 and the dvd region is 1 too.

is there any way to fix this?

when i tried playing it in vlc media player, it says there isn't a disc in the drive. even when i know i put it in!! (yes, it is a dvd-rw drive)

I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my Windows XP pc, but i want to partition my hard drive. when i was installing it, it asked me what size partition to make. does ubuntu install on the smaller (or 2nd) partition automatically?

I have a apex ad1115 dvd player. is there a way to skip or move to a different chapter in the movie if i don't have the remote? the only buttons on the dvd player are play/pause, stop, and eject. i've tried the tv remote but doesn't help. thanks.

this is probably a dumb question, but if you burn a dvd image (made from a "real" movie dvd with the original dvd menus etc.) to a blank dvd, can you still watch it on a regular tv and dvd player?

how can you rip the MAIN movie (ie: 2 hours) from a dvd to an .avi file that is about 699 mb (without changing the quality)?
