  • Health Reform or Nationalization of Health Care?

Based on the current health bill, available on-line, it states on pages 57 thru 60 that a data base is to be established that will include an individuals financial ability to make co-payments, the individuals medical information, and other information relevant to maintaining cost and treatment options for an individual.

I am pretty sure that the vast majority of people are unaware that this will allow the government to not only locate but track an individual and also allow the government to seize an individuals funds to pay for things other than health care.

The bill also stipulates that the NEW program will NOT have to comply with FAR's (Federal Acquisition Requirements) nor will it be required to be part of the budget oversight process. Its first year budget is set at 10 Billion dollars and may be adjusted as directed by the Secretary at will every year after that.

It also will not be required to provide any form of Dental or Optical care unless an individual is willing to pay for a Premium Plus program over and above the basic, enhanced and premium programs.

Last but not least unless qualified everyone would be required to pay a co-pay PRIOR to receiving any treatment or medicine.

Health Reform sounds more like Nationalization of Health Care and the national registration that social security didn't quite cover.

  • Would you vote for George Washington if he were alive and running for president?

It has been said that Obama doesn't have enough experience, neither did Washington. Clinton has a scandal in her past, so did George. McCain has and is using his military background, so did our first President. Final note Washington believed and supported slavery before his election and had many heated discussions with Thomas Jefferson on this subject.

  • Why do Christians fear other religious beliefs?

It appears that Christians have more intolerance for other beliefs than any other religion or spirtual practice. They carry this to extremes more than anyone else. Does anyone really Know why? I am a Pagan by choice.
