I have one of those Romanian .22LR training rifles with the following markings:

UM02

1974

V-61

V6182

CAL ST. ALB. VT.

M1969 .22 CAL ROMANIA

Pretty sure it was imported by Century Arms, St. Alban, VT, but who made it?

Is there any way to tell what year my Stevens Model 15 .22 Rifle was made? It's pre-1968 because there is no serial number, but the last patent stamped on it was issued in 1941, so it has to be at least that old. There is no other date code stamped on it, so I'm pretty sure that means it's pre-1948.

I was just sitting at the airport the other day waiting for my flight, and I noticed that-- despite only two engines under the wings- there appears to be an "exhaust" coming form the end of the fuselage behind the rear stabilizer. Sitting in the passenger lounge, I can see heat waves coming from the engines AND this port. What the heck is it? I think I was looking at an Airbus 320 or similar.

Always wondered why these two vegetables seem to go together. it doesn't seem to be a companion plant (a plant planted along with another plant for some benefit, i.e. nutrients, shade, etc)

You know how when a TV show wants to show you a 5 second video clip they have, and instead of just showing you the clip, they will show a little part of it, then cut back to the "personallities" to hear them talk about it, then show another bit of it, back to the personalities, etc. etc. and what should have taken 5 seconds has now taken a full thirty seconds? And often, short parts of the video are repeated four, five, or six times?

I need a word for that.

There are two amber-colored round things made of some kind of hard rubber or silicone right about the hood latches on my 2001 Wrangler. What the heck are they?

What would be better to have when I visit Denmark next year- Euros or Kroner? It's my understanding that buying them NOW is better than buying them when I get there because of the [US] dollar. But is the Euro better to have than the Kroner? I won't be visiting anywhere else except Denmark.

What is the best season to see Denmark, and what are some of the "What? You fool! You went to Denmark and didn't see the _______" places I should plan on seeing? I figure I'll be spending three or four days there.
