Last night, I opened my laptop which had been in hibernation and everything appeared fine until I used an open IE page to go to my Yahoo home page. When I clicked on a video link on the homepage, my whole computer froze up. I had to shut it off manually and when I did it gave 3 beeps. I tried to turn it back on and nothing happened. I unplugged it, waited 10 minutes and used the blue Access IBM button to run Hardware Diagnostics. I walked away and when I came back, the screen was black and said A20 Hardware Error. I unplugged it again and tried it again and this time, it booted up and I logged into Windows but it froze while loading everything. Repeated everything again and this time I could log in and I ran a Virus Scan (Norton AV 2007) which found nothing. Live Update said I had all the updates. Spybot found a few of the usual things which it removed. I could completely move around my computer with no problems until I started to use IE again. Then it froze. **Continued*

QB: I've been playing Hasselbeck every week but Rivers did very well last week and with them playing Kansas City this week, I'm leaving towards Rivers. What do you think?

RB: I'm finally benching Maroney this week...I'm getting tired of waiting for him to score! I'm going with Sean Alexander and Ronnie Brown. Any thoughts?

WR: This one is tougher for me. So far, I'm going with Torry Holt, Anquan Boldin and Jerricho Cotchery. But I also have Santonio Holmes and Dwayne Bowe. If Hines Ward doesn't play, I may substitute Holmes but I don't know which of the others to take out. Cotchery is listed as Questionable and Boldin didn't practice on Wed which isn't a good sign. Plus I'm not so sure how he would do against the Pittsburgh Defense. What do you think?

I have an IBM Thinkpad R40 with 256 MB of RAM. It boots up and shuts down SO slow, it drives me insane so I'd like to get more memory. I have 2 slots and the 256 that's there is removable. I could put two 512's in there for a total of 1GB or go with two 1GB for a total of 2GB. But the difference in price is huge. I can get 512 of RAM for about $63 but the 1 GB is around $120. So, is the difference in performance between 1 GB and 2 GB worth it?

A friend of mine is thinking of opening a small place which will have seating inside plus take out serving hamburgers and hot dogs. He asked me for some unique names, so I thought I would run it by the P&S folks to see what you could come up with!

Well, I was having rum last weekend, but I don't remember much past the fourth drink until I woke up Monday morning. Is that what they meant by time flying?

Has Bilbo B gotten suspended again? I am in shock. He's only been back for a matter of a week and had gotten himself up to Level 2 and a Top Contributor in that short time. And they did it to him again!!!! He is so funny and witty and I can't believe YahPoo did this to him again. I think I'm done with Yahoo Answers and their unfounded, arbitrary suspensions while the trolls stay.
