On the topic of Philippines becoming a state. Let me put it this way, let’s suppose, you were a country, and I am a separate country from you. Now, I want you to turn over all your sovereignty to me, you now can not make any decisions on anything without my approval, I want 50% of all income you make, and you cannot make purchases without my scrutiny, your President will be reduced in status to governor, your armed forces will be under my control, and last but not least, you have to wear an arm band to be identified as my subject. How do you feel now?

  • So you think you're logical?

Imagine that you are employed in quality control by a card manufacturer. They are producing a series of cards for an experimental psychologist, according to the following rule: if a card has a vowel on one side, then it has an even number on the other side.

There are four such cards below. You know for certain that each card has a letter on one side and a number on the other.

In light of this knowledge, please indicate, by typing a “1” “2” “3” or “4” , as your answer which card or cards you definitely need to turn over, and only that or those cards, in order to determine whether the rule is broken in the case of any of these four cards. I will indicate correct ans. for each response with a thumbs up, or incorrect ans. With a thumbs down. Thanks for testing your Logic.

  • How would you feel if this “movie” turned out to be, your real life?

In a movie production of your making, you design and crate a character who is the Arch enemy or protagonists to your own character, the epitome of evil. Now, in the movie, you play a part, you discover ways to overcome all that is presented to you by this foe, and in the end you are triumphant in the creative and joyful ways you accepted challenges and dealt with understanding your purpose and role in this production. How would you feel if this “movie” turned out to be, your real life?

  • Isn’t it ironic that since, in our true nature, dying is a biological necessity?

In our near future, scientists and medical professionals hope to have the ability to prolong or extend human life beyond what is now the norm. It has been and will always be, inherent in all humans that they must die physically so that spiritual survival is obtained. Is the yearning to prolong life a direct contradiction to nonconventional concepts like, “life after death,” “reincarnation lives,” spirit selves and others having to do with non-physical life?

Life is suppose to be about expanding ones consciousness, not rejecting or trying to block out the reality of our own innate spirituality. It seems that we often forget that the preparation obtained from “physical existence” not only include but also supports the beginning of another. It is my belief that to prolong “life” is to stagnate both biological and spiritual information normally acquired. Would you want to live indefinitely? The choice of life and death is always yours, would you then deny yourself any part of your earthly experience involving the event of death? Would not life itself lose its value, with the absences of death? It is obvious to me that the full enjoyment of life would be an impossibility without the inedibility of death. What are your thoughts on this?

  • What is your own personal World-View?

Each of our waking lives is the result of the most particular kind of association, held competently and with amazing clarity. While each person perceives that reality from a slightly different perspective, each of us has his or her own interpretation of that experience, what is yours?

  • Why set standards for your children to adhere to?

I asked a question earlier today about a "picky" 7yr old at the dinner table. I want to thank all those who responded, especially the Moms, I also sent back a reply to those whose e-mail would accept messages. This brings up further discussion: Why set rules and/or standards for children if it serves no purpose. Why not let them do what ever it is that they want to do. What do the Moms do when lets say, he doesn't want to wear shoes to school.. Or only wants to eat only ice-cream". What then? Where do you draw the line? Some responded that its not about being "grateful" and that he's only 7 and let him have his way. Well to you I say this after you work 9 and 10hrs a day just to provide food for the table, it IS about being "grateful" and "thankful" for what you eat. Being 7 is just the time that discipline is to come into play, don't you think? Do you think a child who's stomach is swollen from hunger, would complain that someone put raisins in his oatmeal? At 7yrs is the time to develop taste for different foods. Look we're not talking about lizard tails here. Dried fruits and corn are common enough. I may be totally wrong but I think when grace is said over a meal, it means you are "thankful and grateful for the nourishment you are about to receive.

  • Is a 7yr old boy ungrateful when he is "picky" at mealtime?

I watched as my 1st-grader picked the corn out of his mixed veggies serving on his plate. This morning at breakfast he didn't like the "raisins" in his oatmeal. How to teach a child that being "thankful" to his parents and to God, that he has food to eat, is to eat what is prepared for him and just think of the millions of children his own age that eat nothing for breakfast.

  • Problem with "Start-Up" I have Windows XP-Pro, when I start my computer the Windows logo comes up, then ,

All I get is "stripes". After re-starting several times, it opens but the colors on the start-up page change to "pink" and leaves a trail where the pointer goes. If I "click" on an Icon, the colors blink in and out distorting the words and letters.

  • How do you slow down rust.?

I live next to the ocean, my tools are inside a toolshed, but they still get a coat of "rust" because of the salt-air. I put light oil on most, but not pratical on things like desk fans, tables with metal nuts and bolts/screws and so on.
