Bought a car from a small used car dealer in Kansas and it's been 31 days and I still don't have a title. What do I do? I heard I can get my money back. How do I go about doing this? They had 30 days to get that title to me and I still don't have it.

We bought a car from a small car dealership. We test drove it and it sounded good. We drove it home which is like 78 miles away. The next day we notice the vehicle was acting up. We took it to a mechanic and he said it was the transmission. The car dealership won't work with us on this. Are we screwed? Can I report them to someone? We paid 5610.00 for the car. That was all we had.

I am trying to pay off a debt. It's a big amount. I gave them (the collection agency) my account information to do a wire transfer. I even made sure my bank knew about the wire transfer. It has been four weeks and they still have not taken the money out of my account. I have called a couple of times to see what is taking so long. They just keep telling me that they are going to look into it. I finally got a release of judgment saying it's satisfied and paid in full, BUT the money is still in my account. I'm irritated that they haven't takin the money, yet they sent me a reciept. What would you do? Can I tell them if they don't take the money I will stop the wire? I have a reciept saying paid in full. I don't understand why it's taking them so long to take it out. They harrass you and harrass you to pay it, and now that I'm trying to they won't take it. Please give me any advice you may have. Lawyers chime in.

Please help me. I bought my house 1 1/2 years ago. The lady who owned the house before me called a roofer to fix the roof before she sold the house to me, because she noticed the shingles kept coming off the roof right above the porch. They came (she wasn't here when they came), she got the bill and she paid. We had a little bit of a storm yesterday and I guess the wind blew just right and blew the shingles folding the layers back. My boyfriend climbed up to see what was going on and as he climbed his foot went through the roof. Apparently there was bad wood. He left it be and just folded the layers of shingle back down and we were trying to figure out what to do. Now I don't see how the inspector missed this. An inspection had to be done before the house could be sold. Someone screwed up somewhere. I would have thought the roofers would have inspected why the shingles kept coming off instead of just adding a new layer on top of old ones. Know what I mean? I don't feel I should be out the money for this. Please tell me what YOU think. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

I work for Wal-Mart. I work in the meat department. I'm on a paid grade scale. I'm a level 4. Everyone in the meat department is a level 4. Wal-Mart seems to think they can schedule me in the Deli against my wishes. I don't want to work there. They are on a paid grade scale 5. They can't do that and not give me the pay correct? I had to work there already one day 'cause they made me and I didn't want to loose my job. They get a whole 40 cents more than we do. I know to some of you that's not alot. I think this is taking advantage of lower paying associates. They want all this departments to work together, you know fill in and help out when needed. But realistically they all need to be on the same paid grade scale then right? I'm hoping a lawyer will help me here. They are still trying to schedule me over there. What can I tell Wal-Mart? I've told them over and over this isn't fair. Please help.

My son is in 7th grade. He is going to a new school. Half the year is over. He doesn't want to paricipate in P.E. The school gives him detention for not participating. He is on his third. They are threating to give him Out of School Suspension. FOR P.E. ?? Come on. I told the school when I was in school, when kids didn't want to participate they had to walk the gym or something. They didn't have the option to NOT DO NOTHING. Principal said it's up to the teacher. I don't understand. Walking is exercise and isn't that what P.E. is all about. What should I do? He is not disruptive he is just quite and is a stick to himself kinda kid. They said he may not get to go to that school next year. What happen to NO KIDS LEFT BEHIND? Please help!

My daughter told me today that she has the urge to go pee, but nothing will come out. She is 11 years old. She has done the number 1 today but just a little. It's bothering her. She wants the feeling to go away. Any suggestions on what to do or what this might mean?

I started getting this smell, coming from the kitchen. It smells like something died. I can't find it. I have a crawl space under the house and my husband went under and can't find it. A storm came thru my town, and the wind picked up. The cart corral blew over hitting my van denting and busting out two windows. The cart corral wasn't bolted to the ground. I know this cause I work at this Wal-Mart. Everyone that works this can testify to this. Please tell me what you think I should do.
