  • Ideas needed for my daughter's 11th birthday party.?

My daughter is turning 11 and she decided she wanted her theme to be scary stuff. I have no idea where to begin since I've never even really been much into Halloween, let alone planning a party with a scary theme. We were thinking something along the lines of a game where you are blindfolded and have to guess the body part your feeling in a bowl. Fake, of course, like grapes for eye balls. But that is as far as we got. Any ideas would be helpful! Thank you in advance!

  • Whats the difference between....?

Whats the difference between a Ford Taurus SE, SEL and SES?? I have a 2000 Taurus SE and I think the SEL and SES mean they came with other factory options, but what are they?? My Taurus has pretty much everything (CD changer, power everything, cruise control) so I don't know what the differences could be. Anyone know?? Thanks!

  • Did I ruin my digital camera?

I think I screwed up my digital camera. I had it on and noticed my battery was low, so stupid me, takes the batteries out, put new ones in and forgot to shut the camera off first! Now, I can't get the camera to do anything. The zoom lense won't retract and it just makes a funny noise at me when I hit the power button. Anyone know what to do?? Its a Samsung S630. Please help me! I really can't afford a new camera. I'm so used to this one! I bought it in October and I don't have the receipt anymore.

  • Just adopted an Australian Shepherd dog....with past abuse issues. Please help me!!?

He is 3 yrs old and is up on all his shots and is nuetered. He is housebroken and went through obedience training. However, the previous owners told me the people they got him from was a man who was abusive, so now my dog is scared of any man who is in my home. I am happily living with my boyfriend and my boyrfiends feelings are hurt because the dog will not come to him when he calls him and basically hides from any man. My BF has tried bribery with treats, getting down on his hands and knees to try to coax him, but no avail. I keep telling my BF that the dog needs time to relearn to trust and only time will do that, but it still leaves my BF frustrated because the dog follows me around and wants nothing to do with him. Should I be more concerned then I am? or, should I just figure time will bring him around and he will eventually break down this wall of not trusting men, or at least my BF?? HELP!

  • I am a diabetic and I've checked my glucose levels and I'm in the normal range, but....?

My head is hurting and I feel dizzy. I even passed out at one point and couldn't seem to "come to" for about an hour. I ate something and drank a small glass of milk, but my head still is pounding and I still feel faint. What could be my problem??

  • New to injecting insulin for diabetes. Help please!?

I'm new to injecting Lantus for my type 2 diabetes. I have been taking it at bedtime (10 units) for about a month now. I have had 3-4 blood sugar readings for 70 or under when it was time for the injection. I went ahead and injected anyway, but my sugars dropped low to 40-50, so I'd have to eat cheese and crackers and drink orange juice quickly to bring the numbers back up. Should I skip the injection if my numbers are that low? My own Dr said no, but....dropping to 40 was scarey for me and my family. I'm a single mom, and its just me and my daughter (who is 8) in the home, and getting too low scares BOTH of us. Any suggestions? If you need more details, just ask. We eat dinner around 6, I take the lantus around 10:30. So, I don't know if I should have a small snack between or what. Thanks in advance for all responses!
