I've owned this antique lamp for the last three years with no problems. Recently, I've had to replace the bulbs that came with it and ran into problems. CFC bulbs don't work in it at all. I tried a Philips 72-Watt (100W) EcoVantage Clear Light Bulb, and one of those burnt out after 4 days, then I tried a 43-Watt (40W) EcoVantage soft white light bulb, and that burnt out after only two hours. Aren't lower wattage bulbs supposed to be safer and less prone to failure?

I'm considering an e-reader for the first time, and I would like to know which one hosts the most textbook editions (specifically educational textbooks)
