My sister in germany is going through chemo and would like to send her 14 year old son along with a friend to the US to visit me during this period. Are there any restictions I have to be aware of before I book the minors (german citizens)? What type of passport/Visa is now days required? Any idea? Is there a web site someplace I could look up? Are US airlines accepting to minors? I am clueless on where to start looking. Thank you so much!

I have serveral old wood, plastic, stone and clay beads and wanted to spruce them up with a metal coat. Basically I would like to "silver", "gold", "copper" or "crome" plate them. Of course not the real thing, thats too expensive.

Is there a suitable spray paint or dipping paint I can use? One that wont chip or rub off?

We just had a xmas dinner at my mom in law, who lost her husband earlier this year. While most of us where in the middle of prepping dinner, my sis in laws hubby yanked everyone out for immediate attention to a thank you prayer, that completely ignored the recently deceased dad in law. I though he deserved a good mention, if not for him, at least for mom in law., but then I am not immediate family either. It seemed very rude.. My husband was mad. Whats your take?
