How do I calculate the pH at the equivalence point in the titration of 50.0 mL of 0.100 M acetic acid with 0.100 M NaOH. The Kb value for C2H3O- is 5.6 x 10^-10.

I really just need to know the steps involved in solving this problem. I'm thrown off because I wasn't given the volume of NaOH.

Ok, so my 3 year old daughter has a discolored spot, a little smaller than the size of a dime, on her inner right but cheek. It looks like a bruise, but it's been there for a long time (months). I never had it looked at because it didn't bother her. It never changed in size or color - it was just always there. Last night I was helping her wipe her bottom and it appears that the bruise has pus in it. It's not warm, swollen, or raised, and she says it doesn't hurt unless I press on it.

I'm taking her to the doctor today, I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of anything like this before.

I just started participating in my city's recycling program. The pamphlet they gave me says I can recycle "any recycleable plastic containers that did not originally contain motor oil, anit-freeze or any other hazardous materials." They don't take plastic grocery store bags though. The website for the recycling center says that they accept #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #7 plastics.

So, are zip lock baggies recyclable?

I'm scheduled to take the ASCP exam for Medical Laboratory Technology on Friday (07/07), and I'm pretty much freaking out.

I just want to know if anyone out there has taken an ASCP test for any catagory, and how you did. What's your experience? Any words of advice are welcome. Thank you.
